I tend to agree that as the rules are now there should be no punishment, and in fact, I am not sure punishment should be added to the rules for walkovers in the B3. I actually several seasons back was in a league final series against a fellow I consider to be a good friend, and after getting destroyed at his arena in game 1, I knew I had no chance of winning the series. We agreed that he'd throw game 2 and I'd throw game 3 for revenue, and we tried to set up our players for individual scoring records. Fun times.
I think in this scenario it may have been better to try to do the same, and maybe to make it public for those who follow the predictions. But when no training is impacted and no other teams either, the harm involved is next to nothing.
