If we play that game 10 times you win more often than lose, the breaks fell my way. I know I'd break someone's undefeated season, just hoping it game from the blue side...
I was at home, that's massive. I took 6 more FTs, but made 11 more than you. I had 33% more rebounds than you and 50% more offensive rebounds than you. We each took 10 3s, I made 2 you made zero. I think that's an interesting stat. Your LI vs my 3-2 still forced you to take 10 3s. My patient vs your m2m forced me to take the same number of 3s. I don't know why, but that's interesting.
My massive 4th Q comeback was wild. I played sit if foul trouble so had some scrubby backups which allowed you to get a solid lead. When the starers were in, they held there own, as they should at home. That said, no explanation for "he's on fire!" in the 4th. I scored more in the 4th than any combo of 2 other quarters combined. The 2nd and 3rd were lost to starters resting with too many fouls. Maybe my fresh starters sitting on the bench overcame stamina issues with your starters that played most of the game?? Just a wild guess, nothing to back it up.

No clue how I walked away with 2 wins against the 1 and 2 seed from the Gr8 at the beginning of the week....

Yeah, I researched them a bit, and am impressed.
I've never actually played them before, but they've been around since almost the beginning, so it's a bit of an honor to play them in the Cup.

Care to share any Deronimo lore for my relative newbie self?

...and he really gave me a run in that game. His players are very efficiently built.

He's also the manager who had the one player who will always be my nightmare - freaking Paiva. I think your team was the one that was always the team I had problems with, but Paiva was the player who was most problematic - even compared to the NT players in PLs and some very high end players here.

I would not have intentionally left that important piece of info out if i had remembered it.

Well, clearly my team seems to be out to set the record for the longest unbroken regular season win streak in a single II series (if it doesn't have it already, I mean, after all it would be a special kind of fool who can't promote with a 22-0 record). Can we all agree that I should get the lifetime achievement award and everyone can throw the rest of the games this season and postseason to me, and you can all build up your war chest to win next season? I think I'd enjoy that greatly, assuming I don't find a way to screw that up at least. ;)

Have to say I've had a pretty fortunate Cup draw to this point too. Had a scare last week since my league week ended up being too easy and I had too many minutes on my B squad to roll my usual Cup lineup. Luckily, I don't think I have to worry about early garbage time at petersburg - I'm far more likely to lose that one straight up than win by more than 20.

You need a title for sure. I have a few ideas that will help change your swagger.

This is new title has the feel of the late 80's early 90's boxing promoters. Put this on your business cards and require the PA guy in your arena to refer to you in this manner, instant street cred.

Consider upgrading the team name. Drop Clogs and insert Tenny Runners. The whole aura surrounding your franchise changes. You go from Large Anglo Saxon plodders to I am not exactly sure. But it is different for sure.

Maybe loosen the purse strings. Offer 3 months of supporter to those that roll over for you. This sounds expensive but if you think about it, you don't need to bring out this big gun until the playoffs. That is the historically bumpy time for the Clogs. I don't know if this tactic is against the rules, that would require reading the game manual, and I am not about to do that at this point in my game experience. Even if it is, refer to your title, you are a Shot Caller so it wouldn't apply to you.
