yes i am planning to start training young guns from UAE unfortunately I am not that lucky in the draft. also I lost the bidding for that good Center..

anyway I will try again next season

Zafar Khaladi is doing well with training (problem with him is that when I drafted him his stat is below average)

Manager of the week

This week's <Manager of the week> is Fendt18 (100127) from Serbia.

His player Zakariyya Al-Amal (22440730) just recovered from a 2-week-injury. Zakariyya, already being the team's best rebounder, improved his rebounding skills to another level.
Zakariyya has lots of talents, and is a versatile player who can play C, PF and even SF. And he is always in good shape!

Zakariyya is definitely our most valuable frontcourt player.

Manager of the week

This week's <Manager of the week> is Reedem (84908) from France.

19 year-old Small Forward Tariq Asraf (25463105) had two Ups in this week's training.
Tariq`s strength is that he does not have many weaknesses, making him a great player on position 3.
He did not wear the UAE jersey during a game yet, but I am sure we will see him playing soon in a national jersey.

I really hope that Tariq will get more playing time for his club team as well!

First victory of the season

Our U21 team has beaten Saudi Arabia 119-92 (19881).
After the next standings update, UAE leaves the last place in our Asia championship group.

UAE showed a promising match. Top performers were:
* Point Guard Masud Yousif (23175564) with 8 assists and 15 points.
* Power Forward Hosseinie Turk (23175590) as topscorer of the match with 15 points.
* Center Zakariyya Al-Amal (22440730) as top rebounder (12).

Anyway, biggest surprise in the match was the outstanding performance of 19 year-old Akbar Yousif (24417984) who collected 10 rebounds and scored 13 points in just 15 minutes!
We hope to see more great games like this from Akbar in the future.

This week's <Manager of the week> is Dubai Warriors (176506).

19 year-old Akbar Yousif (24417984) improved his defensive skills, and his game shape is proficient!
Btw, Akbar showed a great performance in our last U21 win against Lubnan (19884).

UAE is on it's way up!

With the last two victories against Saudi Arabia and Lubnan, UAE finished fifth in Pool C of the Asia U21 Championship Tournament.
In the U21 team ranking, UAE moved up 5 positions to rank 92.
Only 91 positions left to go :-)
