I guess I've just stopped being amazed when the most experienced player in the national team, surely a first-ballot USA NT hall of famer when he finally retires, embraces his smaller role in the team and finds a way to make the key play to set up the winning shot when called upon, in a game that might have spelled the end of the campaign had we lost.
It was nice to see Dirk Trujillo celebrating right there along with him, though. I thought it was nice of jfarb to provide him seats right behind the bench in return for being willing to show up to practice and get dunked on, building up the team's confidence before the big games.
