Just opened bb BB and didn't understand what was that. By not playing one of the most important matches in season, you simply disrespect all community. Yes, I agree that there's always a lot of room for improvements and game developers should improve this game much more than they do now. At the time I'm writing this message, an interesting feeling came to me. Maybe it was right. Maybe you made right move to get attention everyone wanted.

Seriously Perpete, you GMs and the devs should be ashamed of yourselves.

I freely admit, I'm partially to blame. I didn't write any code that could fix this. Neither did Perpete, neither did any of us. I just wish that the thousands of people participating in the Utopia random scrimmage friendly prediction contest didn't have to suffer the fallout as well as you.

For the same reason Gregg Popovich has been fined in the past when resting his players during a regular season game which was on TV, it kills the entertainment of one of the biggest game of the season in BB.

It is a way to show your opinion and maybe that is a good opinion and enthusiasm should be changed for the B3, but changing rules because of a walk-over during the B3 finals and no sanction would set quite a precedent.

Fined how? Is it a secret?
Can you please just copy/paste me that point in the rules where it is written that you will be punished if you loose a game 50-0?

You know what is a real punishment for darkonza? That he should play a final of B3 with 8 ent against a guy who have 12 ent. So hard punishment.
It's unfair, he would loose it anyway, is it important if he loose 20,30,40 or 50 points difference?

Everyone loose sometimes games on his hand, to get better GS for CUP game or similar, is this forbidden?
I can just imagine how hard it was to make this decision, you play a game for your 2nd B3 title, and you know that you can't win cos of ent, and he decide to give up.. I'm just sad that things like this happen

I have no doubt that you rejoice at some walkouts and not others. Selective judgment is selective. Ah and I'm sure Darkonza is on his way to Venezuela to evade the concept of fair justice you have around there! Btw since when you became an EGM? Is this another secret change?

I don't rejoice in any of them personally. I have personally always advocated that there should be a lineup of lucky fans (with aggression fixed to the most non-fouly, non-injury causing level) and the team submitting the walkover lineup should have harsh consequences in terms of fan survey / loss of training / loss of TV revenue / etc.

Otherwise, I think the point sailed over someone's head, likely mine. GMs and EGMs do not code, we merely exist to make life miserable for some users and hopefully more enjoyable for the vast majority.

Anyway, after deleting the duplicate post (in case anyone was curious), I'm going to simply point out this thread is for discussing this season's B3 and related issues, and the fact the game was a walkover does not mean that any walkover game outside of B3 is related. You've already reported the bug, so hopefully there will be some resolution (possibly removing teams from the auto-scrimmage if they're one econ update from botification.

I seriously doubt that in the future I will have the possibility to play the B3, first of all because I'm in love with the silver trophies (in Italy and Utopia, same destiny! And on Monday maybe also with Italy U21!) and because it's simply tough in a big country like Italy to overcome all obstacles in Cup or League. More difficult like in other countries, just as it is for Spain, Poland and so on, compared to other countries.
But, laying myself and lying to myself, dreaming about winning and about reaching a B3 final I won't, absolutely and for any reason, quit before playing. So don't misunderstand me, I completely agree about the message behind the WO, I respect a lot (and surely not blame) the courage to do something like this, because to send some kind of message is very very difficult, but I'm here to play and I would have played too.

@Perpete: No wonder who is listening us, I know already that the answer is noone. This micronation's topic has been a hot topic for seasons and season, jumping from economy to enth, merchandising, bonus and so on. Do something has been done?

If that's because BBs do not think it as an issue then there is any word I can type which can sound louder than the WO itself. Because of it I respect what darkonza did, even if I wouldn't have done.
