Man, I win that game if I don't GDP wrong. I'm making mistakes everywhere.

Edit: Well, I did beat him 24-8 in the 4th, so maybe it was just miraculous that I took it to 3 overtimes

Brutal. Another close game just out of reach of the Sungrazers' best efforts. Damn.

AND... sentimental fan favorite, original roster member Kenny Cheek, trained up from a sub-$2K zygote into the upstanding young man he is today, was sidelined for 2+ weeks in what was going to be his last best season before age begins to take its toll.

He had a few key players foul out, too. Not really sure what to make of it.

Speaking of fouls... my game was crazy. At the end of the first quarter 3 of my key players had 3+ fouls (Meek 3, Funk 3, Luna 4). In summary: Both my starting PF (Luna) and SG (Blocker) fouled out, my starting PG (S.Huey) had 5 fouls, my starting SF (Darryl Meek) had 5 fouls, and surprisingly enough, my starting C (P.Funk) who is foul prone, stayed at just 3 fouls. With the recent injury to my backup center, there is no viable option if Funk fouls out.

That wildcat OT game had me thinking...It's pretty bad-ass having NT hero Luke Simmons, and former NT great, Frank Tanner playing in our league. And Canadian legend, Varis Sourpis. I'm used to the lower divisions where you don't know anything about anyone (managers or players). That's one thing I love about the higher divisions - lots of iconic managers and players.

What's up with Luna man? His numbers haven't looked as great as I thought they would be. You're still winning of course, but it looks like he's struggling shooting from the field.

Yeah, he's been struggling for sure. But his impact shows in the win column. Meek and Funk are the primary options on offense and they usually get more touches. I think his numbers would increase playing at the center position, but I'm still training him so hopefully he improves -- training 1v1, no pops yet this season.

Might be a better idea to just to do primary training with his age. His secondaries are great.

I'm training him along side Kearney, Isom and Meek. I want to get a JR/HN/DV/IS pop this season w/ 1v1f before I move onto ID.
