Wow you had 11 seasons in division II including six trips to the semifinals. Wow. Where are all those amazing players that took you there?

Yeah, if it happens it'll be after the asb. Might just ditch the PD. Really don't have the time.

2010 i moved to the U.S, and with all that was going on I kinda neglected the team a bit in the last season or two in Div II. Then when i got relegated i thought i could just start spending more time in the game and have my lads comfortably back in Div II the following season.
Then i saw my expenses vs the drastically smaller income and knew I was screwed if i didn't sell some of those players. I think i got within 36 hours of losing my team, because my debt had fallen over 500k and luckily i sold players and got back in the black.
So now it's a team of so-so players with a lot more time spent on training youth.
It's been tough being a good team that was a number of times just a win or two away from being in the top flight of Australia basketball to being the 4th or 5th best in a Div III league. But I think i'm enjoying the game now as much as ever, and i'm pretty determined to grind my way back up to the level the team used to be at.

Heres the scores after Saturday's round of games:

POINTS 24/05/2011 28/05/2011 Total
Axis123 6 4 10
Possum 6 4 10
Akuma 6 3 9
Bainsy 6 3 9
Yoda 0 4 4

PD 24/05/2011 24/05/2011 Total
Yoda 0 161 161
Possum 184 89 273
Axis123 133 146 279
Akuma 162 127 289
Bainsy 163 172 335

Axis and Possum jump in the lead on the points table on 10 points each, with Possum edging out Axis slightly on the PD table, being 6 points closer with 273 points against Axis's 279.The competition is picking up momentum with master yoda joining the frey and picking up 4 points on his first week! On the other side of the competition, Akuma and Bainsy fight it out for the wooden spoon, with both on 9 points but Bainsy taking the honors for the time being with 335 points against Akuma's 289.

The PD shouldn't be a problem - most of the spreadsheet I'm using is automated now. I just have to copy and paste your picks in, fill out the actual results, and voila the numbers get spit out. Takes less then 10 minutes!

In other news, TeamAkuma's U21 player, Clinton Abimbola dropped 73 points on the BlueJz on Saturday nights game, setting both a personal, team and league record on 30-55 shooting from the field, and 10-14 from 3 point land! All that Jump Range training is certainly paying off!

It was a shame the rest of the starting lineup were <5k scrubs (literally!), and contributed only 27 points in total. The BlueJz wiped the floor with TA, with the final score being 130-100. Pro-tip guys: Don't pick TeamAkuma to win anything! LOL
