yeh thats true, the best teams in our League respects the worst teams in our League, its a good balance and no Ego's.

i think its just a good balance of teams we have, which means we're very humble even if the top guys win, no over the top celebration and bagging out other teams.

we don't have a full proof MVP system, but no one's going to complain and b1tch about why their player doesnt get the points etc.

yeah the 2am time definitely sucks, i think the only guy bothered to stay up that late is fannypackman.. =P
right now im complaining about the 8pm of our normal games.. its so darn late, bring back the 6pm games gawd dammit.

yeah seems like a of teams at odds with each other, we've had our fair share of problems too in this fish league, but thankfully the players are sensible enough to take a step back and chill out.

ah yeh you hit it on the head there, we do have disagreements and issues but we take a step back and realise its just a game and for fun. it sets the tone for rivalries as well, which is awesome.

i think the best rivalry we have is Goldfish Vs Fat Bot Slim hahah, regardless of the issues they've had, both teams have sucked in their pride and accepted each other, which is what mature people do.

haha but in all honesty, it's not really that bad... Just that I joined the TEA cup to have a bit of fun playing against fellow aussies with some friendly banter along the way, not to have it taken so seriously that MVP votes can't even be decided on because people let their egos get in the way etc etc.

Iwen sums it up perfectly I think, too many big heads in one room.

ha..2am??? try 3am for AEST where most of us are in!! Its impossible for us to watch it unless you are maybe on the West Coast and even then no one is up to watch it.

Rivalries are good...but there is a fine line between friendly competition/trash talking and the outright abuse of eachother.

Yeah I think its 12 for Perth, but since it's on a Friday night I am either out or in bed at that time!

We believe that you are correct. But there are also many other rivalries. TeamAkuma and Possum Chasers. JW-All Stars and Persepolis Immortals. Koopasaurus and SASTROOPERS and Da Fat Boy Slim. Koopasaurus and Yodabig. Kynlala Knights and Naker Virus for who can play the most games with no roster. Da Fat Boy Slim and Naker Virus for who can pull the dirtiest trick. If The Pwnage and Amos Rogues are here next season that will be one for the ages. We would like to be defeating Shepparton Shooters and peaceNroll again like back in our old days of league 4.7, ins'allah.

This league had been the best thing on Buzzerbeater for us and we are sorry we missed season two even if we would have been down with Naker Virus and the Possum Chasers. It seems we and the JW-All Stars will be stuck in our division 3 for a long time, we may as well have some fun.

On a different issue, we thought the potential cap was a soft cap not a hard cap. We have trained Ali I every week this season and he has not had a single pop besides stamina the entire season. We cry.

If we have 4 teams. 1 will be XBB. 1 will be 4.7. What will the other two be? Who will the other two captains be (assuming Koopasaurus and Yodabig stay)? Who will decide how the other teams are decided? The Tea Cup draft was fun but it led to disunited teams.

But yeah I'm not a massive fan on joining if I'm gonna be restricted to salary caps or have players removed, kinda defeats the purpose of me being in a PL if i cant use my team to try new things / test things out... I like the idea of teaming up with some of the newer teams to even it out though, try and help them get a couple of sneaky wins over the line against u div.2 chumps!


But yeah its your league so do what you have to do, don't mind me I'll just go back to lurking in the bushes again.

Hey we offered you a spot this season in the dark side but you refused due to your own holiness...
was datzilla's throw away game against naker too much for you to handle that you had to go AWOL for a season =P

atm there a lot of teams interested in the two PL relagation/demotion stylL.. would that make things better or worse, who knows... but what seems to be working now is the xbb versus iv7 format...

if we break up the teams and add in all these new players/teams would that turn things sour?
if we continue the xbb versus iv7 for many seasons to come.. would that make things stale and boring?

there are too many factors to consider, so its good to get the discussion going early, so we can start the new PL as soon as this one ends.
