The interview table was filled by wanna-be reporters looking to interview the American stars after their huge win against China. As I seperated myself from the group I managed to get an interview with 2 of the many superstars in the game. Sitting there ready for an interview was Joe Bronson and Ricky Logsdon.

SpF: Hey Joe-Bro! Great seeing you again! Once again Joe great game out there tonight!
Bronson: SpF nice seeing you again too, yeah this was a great game! I mean we just beat the number 1 team in the world!
SpF: 19 points and 10 assist, a nice double-double to kick off this NT season in the Worlds, what are your thoughts on your performance?
Bronson: G-O-O-D but I should be spelling L-E-G-E-N-D. I mean don't get me wrong those are some great numbers but if I'm to live up to being "The Show" I need to make these numbers a common stat line every game.
SpF: Now Joe you had 5 fouls.. what's up with that?
Bronson: Well I had a bet with Ricardo Madrid on who would get to 4 fouls first.. as you can see I won! But no more games it's go time!
SpF: Without Campbells soup Bronson how do you prepare yourself every pre-game? I'm sure lots of practice, right?
Bronson: Practice? We're talking about practice? but no seriously I can't reveal to everybody my secrets because hey there's only one Joe Bronson!
SpF: Yes there is.. umm finally Joe what are your thoughts on new assistant coach Namssor and the outlook for this season?
Bronson: He's a good guy, good laugh here and there, although I almost thought we had a problem one practice when let's say a TWSS joke got taken the wrong way. Finally I have a good feeling about this season especially after this win but it's no easy road and I look forward alongside Team USA to take on all comers!

SpF: Ricky! Hey! Great game out there Logsdon!
Logsdon: Yeah 17 points in 23 minutes isn't too shabby
SpF: It's excellent, you hit some big shots when we needed them!
Logsdon: Yeah I love being in moments like that, nothing feels better when you hit a shot with so much on the line especially multiple times.
SpF: I bet I mea...
Logsdon: You wanna know how I prepare for those shots SpF?
SpF: umm su...
Logsdon: I secretly take and rip out papers from Coach Jfarb's coloring books in his office in Airball Arena and make little paper balls. I then proceed to make dramatic sound effects and count down from 3 to make buzzerbeater trash can shots. I'm thinking about printing a book about this.
SpF: Wow.. well you know that's pretty amazing Ricky!
Logsdon: I try.
SpF: What are your thoughts on this huge win?
Logsdon: Great game, glad to be a part of it and look forward to our next one versus Canada.. It's going to be an epic one!

Searching out Jfarb for his coach statement, I bumped into a familiar face but could not recognize who it was. It was a man wearing sunshades, long black cornrowed hair (almost like a wig) and wearing some tropical clothes.
Mysterious Man: How about the coaching done tonight by Jfarb and the play of all the American players?
SpF: Umm yeah.. I haven't seen that since...
Mysterious Man: SINCE the great Wozz was coach of the NT!!
SpF: I was going to say last season but sure?
Mysterious Man: *cough* yeah that too.. sorry I have to go cry
SpF: What?
Mysterious Man: I mean fly.. fly back to Jamaica
SpF: umm Ok nice talking to you.. where have I seen him before?

SpF: Coach a statement?
Jfarb: Obviously this is a big win for us, and for me especially, because I may or may not have bet money on the game. Down 16 at halftime, I'm very proud of our effort in the 2nd half. Namssor told some TWSS jokes about Wang and that loosened up the tension in the locker room. Now we can't celebrate for long, because up next is Canada, and they want payback...literally they want payback from the damages to the city of Toronto from our celebration parade there last season.

Join the offsite forums and join in the discussion about next week's game versus Canada!

BB-Charles gave him premium last season so he's on the level of complete and utter awesomeness. He needs a renewal though. *Hint*Charles*Hint*

This would have hurt if I wasn't a Wozzvt hire. But now you have several other managers mad at you.

Enjoy ;)

I mean it's like a parent picking favorites. You may be the fat out of shape child that knows you're not the favorite, but your not supposed to told that.

I like that we beat the #2 team in the world and dropped from #11 to #14 in the World Rankings.

Maybe because exactly two years ago we had a really good win that doesn't count anymore, while yesterday, the teams that passed us up had really good wins as well but two years ago, maybe weren't in worlds or had a bad win/loss. Just a thought
