And sorry if I was too harsh. I am cranky as hell today for a variety of stupid reasons and I should just take a chill pill sometimes.

Which answer is better?

the one that gives the most complete info.

It's okay to add if you find it worthless, but the managers themself can decide for themselves only if they get complete info.

I don't understand how a manager can train a good PG without EVER training handling either, but that might just be me.

For other positions handling indeed is not so good as choice, unless maybe it'sconsidderable lower and needs a boost before the real training can start.

On blocking I have to totally disagree. I have been saying blocking is usefull since I started out many seasons ago. In the meantime BBs improved it's importance because most where ignorant of it's power, and afterwards managers are starting to see the light. I might value it too much, but I'm 100% sure it's not worthless, and training it is a good investment. Contrary to handling, blocking isn't in almost any trainingtype, so to improve it, you should realy train it...

Because managers training PGs tend to go for a lot of 1on1 which boosts drving, handling and JS all fairly quickly. A PG with very high driving and handling is a big problem for his opponents.

Well I have never trained bigs so don't have a good feel for blocking training but I know of a manager who trained an U21 prospect in SB and was abused by the NT Coach who told him something like "never train that again it is worthless".

While I can't say SB is worthless, it's definitely not as important as the other inside skills. Also, it's trained by the other inside skills as well (mostly by ID). So, if you have a trainee with decent starting SB, you may never need to train that skill, as he will get enough pops from training other inside skills, to reach a satisfactory level.

if I recall right inside defense is the only training that trains blocking as secundary.

Ofcourse there is a wide variety in what managers think is best.

I have trained an SF, which is splendidly balanced, yet the U21 manager feels other players, particularly SG and PFs are better to play at SF spot in the U21. Do I agree with him? no.
Likewise there will be NT managers that still feel blocking is not worth as much as other inside skills.
I on the other hand think all inside skills should be as equal as possible.

Who's right, who's not? maybe time can tell. Maybe both work out equally well.

Each manager has his own theories, and maybe this is the key to the success of BB.
Others can tell me what I should do, but in the end, I still do what I think is best. and if the U21 or the NT manager don't like it that way, and pick someone else, it's their choice. And if they ever see the light, my player will be there. ;þ

I had 2 centers. 1 with 70k wage, 1 with 45 k wage. the first had rebounding as highest skill (15), ID second highest (14), but his block was prety low (8). The other has block highest(15), and ID second highest (13), other insides at 10 and 11, so not high at all.
I sold the 70k wage center, and still have no regrets about it.
I also never would buy a center again which has blocking more then 2 level less then ID. Unfortunatly the market is full of bad shaped centers, which have high rebound and Id, but lack blocking. If you find one which has decent block skills you're lucky, if you find one who has higher block then the rest, you picked up a winning lotery ticket.
On the other hand, there aren't many managers looking to buy those rare ones, which is lucky, as otherwise they would be soooooooooo expensive.
