Be careful when linking TL players on forum post...I was banned for a week for doing what you just did...you might want to delete the link and people can search the TL for Japanese players( not very many to be a hassle)....

A couple updates

Current U21 Player Fumiya Okumura is up for sale. Asking price is $3million

Current U21 Player Naoya Ueda is up for sale. Asking price reduced to $3million
I also recieved the following BB-mail about Ueda from the owner:

"I would like to sell him at around 2.5m-3m
I need to sell him urgently..
If you have owners who interest in buying him, please inform me as soon as possible
Thanks very much"

If you are interested in Ueda I would suggest contacting him and negotiating with him directly on a reasonable sposting price.

One more thing to consider. If you are thinking of buying one of these guys and love of country is one of the motivators, consider that both players above are 21 and will only contribute to U21 for about another half season or so, and we will get limited benefit from training before then. Of course, maybe you think you will groom them to play on the National Team or just have interest in them for your own team. It would probably be a better long term return for U21 if you wanted to invest in one of the younger players that can benefit more from a long training program.

Thanks again,
Coach Taiyo

Two U21 players just went on the TL, Hirofumi Sonoda and Shuichi Taguchi. Their owner, Yo-ka, just turned BOT and they were put up on the TL. They are both 21 and we will not advance so they won't really have any further value for the U21 team. But, I think Sonoda could be an asset for the National Team. Izaman might be able to give some insight on where he might fit in there.

BTW, why do I keep losing my best owners. First it was Yo-ka who owned to key post players for me. Now Tokyo Thunders has gone dark since 2/11. He owns two of our best guards, and they are both 20. Those players are expected to be the cornerstones of the team for next season.

Maybe real life. People get busy and don't have time for the game.

Both these teams were very active and communicating, managed their players' gameshape well and had good training programs.

Sonoda is really the quality guy, I think Taguchi ended up being the shadow to Sonoda's training program.

The way I would put it is I had a couple emails with them about their players and they were rotating their training around. I wouldn't say it was frequent communications as described above.

As anticipated for a while, two strong starting guards from U21 are now on the transfer list, Shinya Umari and Usami Matsumura. Their onwer, Tokyo Thunders, went bot with the latest financial update.

Both are SGs. I don't have an obvious starter at PG or SF yet for next season. either of them would take the PG spot with some training at Passing and Handling.

Happy bidding.
