Yes, but he has the option to take 43 minutes in 1 position for 1 player or 48 minutes in 2 positions for 2 players.
Center:
Starter: P1
Backup: P2
Reserve: P2
Power Forward:
Starter: P2
Backup: P1
Reserve: P1
That should give P1 and P2 48 minutes in those 2 positions. Training something that is already 2 position would be good so you don't lose an oppurtunity to train 1 position. Something like Rebounding or One on One or Jump Shot.
I know it may not be the best solution, but in a walkover it is the best you can do.

So you're saying if I do two position training and I want to train two guards for that game, I can just do:
PG
starter: P1
backup: P2
reserve: P2
SG
starter: P2
backup: P1
reserve: P1
and I will receive full 48 minutes of training for both players in a walkoff? (If so, thanks a lot. That's what I'll do.)
But I don't understand... Why is it any different from:
PG
starter: P1
backup: P1
reserve: P1
SG
starter: P2
backup: P2
reserve: P2
because I know that only gives you 43 minutes of training for the two players in a walkoff.

I'm not 100% sure if it will work. But I am 90% sure, and its the best option you have.
I think it is different because it forces you to do 2 position. And also it may not be something the BBs have thought of.

He means a walkover. Which is when a team only lines up 2 or less players for a game.
It is then an automatic forfeit and the other team wins 25-0.

Look at this team...35 Walk offs in a row...He is pissing people off in Japan by logging in every 3 weeks or so to keep his team from becoming a bot. The BB's should just erase his team. A whole season of 25-0's..come on.

I completely agree. Very annoying and not in the spirit of the game!
I would love if 3 walkovers in a row resulted in a warning. And then another 3 walkovers that season could result in loss of the team or something like that. Or perhaps every single walkover should be fined and no arena income received. That way a team would go in to debt with constant walkovers which would cause the team to be taken over by a bot.

What about just dressing 5 players? How do the minutes work in that scenario in a walkover?

Depends where you dress them.
36 minutes for a starter. 10 minutes for a backup. 2 minutes for a reserve.
43 minutes if the starter backup and reserve of a position are the same.
Check out the team linked to above with the 25 something walkovers for examples of how minutes are distributed in walkovers.

So if you know someone is going to tank with a walkover, and you only set 5 players to your match day squad, they still won't get 48 minutes?
By the way, I want to win my cup game against you :P You can test the tank theory if you like. =D

Even if you set just 5 players they still won't get 48 minutes in 1 position.
haha so you are going to play your starters and crunch time? :P I shall not be testing the tanking theory :P
However I won't be playing all my starters either :P First goal is to not relegate from div 2 :P However I might change my mind at the last second so who knows :D
