My PG is really shooting bad. His field goal percentage is at an atrocious 32.1%. I'm mostly playing motion or push the ball, which actually should benefit his skills...

I know driving and handling have an influence on a players ability to create their own shot, but his handling is strong and his driving average.

Does anybody have an idea why he can't sink the shots?

Here are his skills:

$ 10 829
DMI: 60000
Age: 21
Height: 6'4" / 193 cm
Potential: allstar
Game Shape: strong

Jump Shot: proficient Jump Range: strong
Outside Def.: proficient Handling: strong
Driving: average Passing: strong
Inside Shot: inept Inside Def.: pitiful
Rebounding: mediocre Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: average Free Throw: pitiful

Experience: awful

his jump shot and jump range aren't incredibly high so he won't hit everything. keep in mind outside players do not have as high FG percentages as inside players. shooting 40% is considered pretty damn good for outside players. 50% is good for inside players. the closer you shoot to the basket the higher the percentage will be of made shots.

Div II is a tough division. If your opponents have players with good OD, guards will have harder time to score.
