I don't get the question... You get to continue in the playoffs, whether it counts on the standings page or not I don't know but I dont think that matters compared to advancing in the playoffs (If you win the playoffs you get promoted to the next league which is of greater importance).
Standings only really matter in two main senses: A) Draft pick order B) Making it into the playoffs so you have the chance to advance.
