Not very realistic, there are many players every year that begin their careers as starters, so in fact maybe the rookies need to get stronger.

Rarely a player is drafted to be trained for years before he can even play on a team.

Potential means that they have the potential to get a starter ;) If you start at a higher level, they are still too weak to play in top league or you have to slow down training to.

I think he meant realistic like, Kobe, Vince, Lebron were all starters in their first years. Most top draft picks in the NBA become instant starters.
