Looks like a quiet IV, and a good break from getting killed at III, should at least be some good games, and maybe a chance to promote with a better team at the end of the season.

it was brutal in the league I was in. I barely won any games.

on the plus side I got two great prospects out of picking second. I did have scouting points saved up though, and blew them all... so probably won't even scout this season.

Scouting is definitely too expensive for the results, the draftees we get ... But when you have a home grown team like mine you have no other choice than hope you'll be lucky and get a strong draftee to form and replace the old ones

While in general I agree with this, but I learned from a friend the key is opportunity. Year before last I went like 20-2, so no good draft pick. I did not spend on scouting at all. I had like 30 points of scouting saved up to start last season in d3. I won two games and picked second. I got a 53 point HOF and MVP that were both 18 by scouting carefully. This year I don't expect to scout at all and probably to have a pretty good winning season... maybe I promote back to d3 and have scouting points to make another run at a prospect next year, but I have more prospects than I can train right now, so I can just hope to get lucky without spending scouting points this year.

exactly. You could sped 100 scouting points on a draft and get next to nothing if you pick at the bottom of the draft, or 50 on a draft when you pick second and do really well.
