It comes down to what you feel you can accomplish. If you want the "no holes" guy then you'll sacrifice a year of training. If you want the extra year of training you'll give up a starting build that may be more balanced.

I say go with the 18 y/o. If all else is equal, you'll just have to train where you see as holes. Once you do that, with an extra year of training you'll have much better TSP and a better build.

I have 1757 players for sale and I'm $25,835,360 in debt. Buy them at outrageous prices, or be selfish and make me go bankrupt. You decide, BB.

Depends on where the points are down at.

If it's mostly single position training, even if you plan on training it, then it takes longer to path the person out. If he's a PG with 2 OD and you are training OD already for 10 weeks, then he'll at best end at an 8 OD, which isn't ever good enough in d2, nor is it good enough for D.III. In addition, in order to get to something borderline good (15 OD), 26-27 weeks is a likely amount of weeks for OD (2 seasons). In such a case, i would default to someone i can get more miles out of, if the second guy is 6 OD thats at least half a season less training single position to get him to the minimum requirement.

Personally I would choose Player A as a 19 year old because I have little patience for training players through their rookie years.

That being said I think Player B as the 18 year old is the better choice in the long run. In an 18 year old season a player can easily grab more than 6 skill points. I believe a good season is around a 11-14 TSP boost for 18 year olds.

Good to know a little bit about the talent in our draft pool, I have little hope of even selling any of the players I'll get haha
