If I had 2 forwards with the majority of their skills even or within 1 point of each other, BUT one was inside shot heavy and the other shot block heavy, who should go where?

Offensively IS F should play PF and cover the best scoring wing on the other team using the switch D (shot block effects all types of defended shots).

Depends on the offense, you could run the IS forward at SF for a mismatch in an inside ISO attack.

That's been what I've seeing from my SB wings which I;'m judging off of 3pt shot attempts which can only be jump shots so maybe there's a different dynamic I'm not seeing at play but more SB means more 3pt shots blocked. I believe others have seen this correlation as well though.

Interesting, now what would you consider the minimum OD to play defense against either wing position?

It depends on a lot of factors like what division you play in and what type of defense you play (m2m would require more than 3-2 but of course 3-2 would require more players to have decent OD and of course oh high the JS, HND and PA of opposing wings which even in DIV can apparently be high, like the 50k+ guys I get the 'pleasure' to play against in my own).

But there is no reason to have less than 10 OD at any level in my opinion... I've got 6 players with 10 OD with a sub 125k salary bill.

That is a contentious issue. It depends what camp you fall into. Some people believe SB is directly interchangeable with ID with the advantage being salary efficiency; however having less ID and more SB usually leads to more fouls due to the offensive player being able to get up more shots (however more are blocked or altered). High SB on your pf and c is generally the go if you play a 3-2 defensive zone I believe ?
