Hi guys, first off thanks for voting me back as your NT coach. I'm looking forward to moving forward with you guys.

I have finalised the squad for now, i have left a few spaces open which i may fill in the coming days/weeks depending on where i feel i could use some extra depth.

Looking at our group this season i'm confident we can win our fair share of games and keep challening the better nations.

You may notice some new players arriving on the NT scene as of this season. I would consider ourselves to be in a slight overhaul in terms of bringing up the younger talent as some of our players have unfortunately got old, a sad reality of all of us i'm afraid. But do not fear, this shouldn't bother us. We still have most of our key players returning and i'm excited for what the future holds for England.

Once again thanks guys, let's be successful.

Zeus.

Since i haven't posted a match report this season due to being busy for uni this past month, i figured i'd grace the forums with one following a great win! Hope you enjoy.

England 110-108 Estonia

In what would prove to be a tough game for England with the news that starters Jeremy Mac and James Gascoigne would miss out through injuries, they faced a tough Estonia side looking to scrape by the injury riddled England team. A few changes to the starting lineup saw the first full debut for Lee Chambers from the famed Mikitos academy. England would come out the stronger of the two teams, with Luke Innes getting 3 dunks in the opening 5 minutes but Estonia would rally to take the first quarter 27-24. By HT England had knocked the lead back down to one. 54-53 Estonia at the half, England trying to stick around. The third didn't offer much of a difference either, with the quarter being seperated by only one point in favour of Estonia. Heading into the forth England would be looking for an inspired come back, Innes with a rare foul out seemed to doom their chances however the lads would fight and claw their way into a late lead.Up 3 with 58 seconds left England just needed to solid defence to see the game out, and they'd get it. However disaster would strike as a turnover with 30 seconds left allowed Estonia a fast break corner three to tie at 106. Dicky would check into the game and force up a good shot to give England a slender two point lead with 16 seconds left, once again Estonia would answer right back. With 9 seconds left, Zeus decided to not call a time out and the game would play out, Chambers quickly bringing the ball up the court from the inbound, he would find a cutting Robert Osman who after fending off some tough defence would drain the game winner for England, a great victory 110-108!

Nightly Notable:

Lee Chambers- 26 points 11-18 FG 8 assists (Lead game in points)
Luke Innes- 24 points 11-18 FG 12 rebounds (Lead game in rebounds)

Great win under difficult circumstances. Getting gdp right didn't hurt.

Nicely done, prediction swinging it too.. Osman justified his spot with a cracking performance too topping it off with the winning basket! Especially impressed with Chambers... Nice one mikitos!!
