This is for coach morwood, 33-11 in 2 terms is a decent number, winning the silver in asian (season 28)and bronze in the worlds (season 29) was magnificent specially the bronze, what happened in s30? im sorry to say coach morwood but for me you are not consistent doing this job, you did great in season 28-29, but the preparation for season 30 was not there, what hhappened to the 19 y/o in s28 and the 20s in season 29? its your job to monitor those player and prepard them for season 30, bronze in the worlds was great silver in the asian was good, but if you want to bring the Philippines in to gold in asian and gold in the worlds you need to be consistent you need to double your effort. and brothes, elders, co managers if i am the coach if i got that silver in asian ill bring the gold in next asian tourney same thing in the worlds if i got the bronze in worlds ill bring the silver or the gold in next world championships, thats what can i bring on the table, consistency, pusong pinoy effort. So help me to achieve that, vote for me.

(sorry im not good in english)

I can understand the desire for a home manager. In England we prefer that too. But many seasons ago we chose Morwood to be our manager and we didn't regret it. You did the same thing a few seasons ago, and have had what can only be described as excellent results.

I truly believe Coach Morwood is one of the top u21 managers in Buzzerbeater. I worked with him in England for many seasons before going out on my own and managed two National Teams. I couldn't have done it without him, and Morwood has worked the same way here, bringing your own managers into his system.

I think what would work best, would be if anyone was interested in being the next U21 manager here, worked with Morwood for the next two seasons. That would better enable him to understand the differences in running a national team, rather than just jumping in and hoping that his nationality will be enough win an election.

I totally agree with Gully's point here. I've not been in the game long but in my time I've liked to help with the NT and U21 teams to gain some knowledge from different managers around the world. Since the day I met Morwood, he has taught me so much about scouting and training and if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be standing for the U21 job for England this year.

I helped him out last season with regards to tactics and considering the players he had last season (compared to the two seasons before) he done an exceptional job to quality with a respectable record, shamefully he just met a strong team in Portugal but how can you blame this on the manager that the players weren't as good as they were over previous seasons? There's only so much pestering, supporting and advice a manager can give to train players and if I'm honest, there's not a manager out there that dedicates his team to U21 teams like Morwood. His record with players who resemble why Philippines were ranked in the top 10 in the world is impeccable and that's why I think he should be given another chance, I think the whole nation would be silly not to.

well i appreciate your interest in the u21.. but I did a lot fo planning and monitoring.. I just don't always post about it. I love your interest, it's too bad, that it wasn't used to help out in some capacity with the teams, I was always open to more help, didnt' see you make yourself available.

I already said in my speech that I would put even more effort in, as it would be my last time running for u21 pinoys.. so please refer to the speech before telling me to make more effort :)

remember, every time is different , people train harder or less for differnet years, we coaches are the by=product of hard work of managers, but when the training isn't there for some players, the results show and I feel although I didn't win the last two seasons, I was honest up front about the fact that we'd have a tough time doing so.. so I was always honest that although we probasbly wouldn't win.. I would always be emphasizing training behind the scenes. which I have.

its nice of you to attempt to start a discussion, but unfortunately I believe your points are not very reflective of what I had to deal with , and you fail to give me any credit for my efforts.. but I understand you are trying to win an election to your tactic is to put me down :)

I believe in the other approach, I believe we all have different skills and if you are wanting to help out, if I happen to be lucky enough to win the election , I would be happy to have you help.. but many have said they would help and haven't so.. ive always been good to my word as many of you know.. I was very honest about the last two years being tough..

good luck in the election.. as per usual, I do give my heart and soul, but I do a lot of the scouting and things without posting it.. just ilke I always allow people to give their opinions and help to the program, but if people aren't helping with that, it's not on me.. ive tried really hard to get many involved.. as many people know..

as per usual, I have shown my loyalty, hard work, eventhough I know running in this country is tough because im not a real pinoy.. but aagain as anyone who has given me a chance knows... one other pinoy was quoted as saying " coach morwood is a pinoy at heart.. just not in body form!!"

so I look forward to more discussion and points, but I do think that in the past elections, anyone who ran against me, said they wanted what was best for Pinoys, never tried to help when they lost the election, so means they don't really care, but when I lost an election, I did stay and help.. as promised.. so I have shown loyalty and hardwork..

peace

m not putting you down im just telling what happened in your last term. In your first term you did a great job, my point is the preparation for season 30 was not there and that was the result. You are a great coach, experience is your advantage but like what ive said you are not consistent. You failed to mold players, you failed to encourage and motivate the managers to train quality players. We need consistency.

Gullyfoyle, i disagree with your point that it be better if the next u21 must worked for the next 2 seasons, to enable to understand the intrnatal games, gullyfoyle this is not in real life basketball if this is real maybe i agree with you. thats why we have a gam manual here, about the mechanics of inter games. you are trying to say that i am only a filipino with no experience, your WRONG WITH THAT, 5 seasons is too much to understand this game, dont treat me as a nobody herei fully understand this game, if you want to ask questions, ask me its my pleasure, it will help me to promote my self and to boost my confidence.

Opticfibres, 1 of the job of nt coach is to mold players for future, its his job to encouraged and motivate managers to train quality plyers at young age, lets say coach morwood did that, so the blame is on the filipino managers?

To Beast.

Don't criticize a coach who has won a silver in the Asians and a bronze in the worlds. It's not as easy as you think winning a bronze in the world championship. Even China who consistently wins Asian Gold wasn't able to get to the semis one season. That is how unpredictable the U21 championships is. He already has proven what he can do. You haven't. I'd rather you show us more what you can offer us rather than doing a negative campaign against a proven U21 manager. Good day.
