Good evening,

Not sure if i can find this information anywhere, hence the question, could anyone please tell me what is the current salary floor for II leagues in England, as well as a rough estimate for TV contract and merchandise? A very unexpected predicament is approaching me, need to guestimate.

In division 2 you pay 140% of the TV money, and TV Money in division 2 is $121,427.

140% of this = $170,000.

So that is the minimum salary you will have to pay next season is $170,000.

At the moment my merchandise is 30K. Merchandise will vary from team to team though which you might already know. Teams with an NT player or drafted player/English player on their roster will have a higher merchandise than teams without.

Also if you do get promoted you get an attendance 'boost' for the first half of next season, you can take advantage of this by raising your ticket prices higher than the norm and still see a large percentage of fans turning up to games.

There is also a promotion bonus for reaching division 2, I think it is a payment of around 400k, but maybe someone else can confirm for certain.

Yes Arsenal messed my plan up, which was one more seasson in III. Just have to work out if it is sustainable for me to move to II, dont fancy going back next seasson!

If you are capable of promoting, you are able to sustain position in D2 - great advice above. Congrats on your pending victory...

Also, very helpful info for those of us travelling to D2 in the opposite direction.
