This reminds me of when Calum said he was able to win D1 USA and the Cup, despite his bigs having low ID. His observation was that opposing bigs miss shots even when playing against low ID. If I'm not mistaken, the bigs he had had SB as well. Sooner or later, I hope to test this out with my bigs.

The Sliverback coach SM won without ID too. His staring center had like 8ID. At one point he never had anyone with ID higher than 10. I don't think he had much SB but I know that his guards had some ID.

Well that's somewhat true, but the perimeter defense is less debatable (as far as i know, the GE might hide interesting things about it either), while the ID and SB issue has much more variety of opinions.

Why do we have so many threads about Look Inside - Inside Defense - Blocking? I think there are 3 new started per day.
ID vs SB is new micronation issue.

Are we saying ID isn't as important just for bigs or for everyone? Because I think good ID for guards combined with high OD can absolutely shutdown offensive stars.

that match is the proof that SB is useless..
losing team had most blocks in its C and PF, 6 vs 2..
