I would like to run for Senior National Team Coach. I have been following the NT/U21 scene for quite some time. I have been to Division 1 once and it was a huge learning (humbling) experience. If someone more deserving and has the time decides to run I will step aside for the sake of national unity. I know some Div 1 (PPL) and Div 2 teams will help me navigate the waters. We are coming of a forgettable season. Let us put the past behind us.
Success cannot be measured in wins and losses. We must show progress. This is already my 12th season playing buzzerbeater. I am currently training (2) U21 prospects with the hope of at least one of them joining the Senior Team when they are ready. I only have one rule should i be fortunate enough to win this election. I will only put deserving players and managers who manage game shape well. I will also ask the younger players to continue training. Something that I felt was not stressed by former coaches.
I have a casual/friendly relationship with Coach Morwood and would likely to continue the hard work of all the people behind our U21 program. I plan to create my own database. I also want to abolish any age limits that were previously set. A player can be past 32 and still be able to play at a high level. If you have a career extension staff the skill drops are minimal at age 33-35.This has been proven by the top teams in the PPL.
Why vote for me? I am not afraid to reach out to fellow managers and ask for help. My learning curve will be minimal because of my experience. Plus I am handsome (lol). Kidding aside, the National Team needs an overhaul and new blood.
I will insist on stability of ownership before inclusion. It is hard to deal with the game shape drops if a player keeps getting transferred. Mabuhay Pilipinas!
