I would like to summarize my 2 seasons in New Zealand
This is the first time for me, that I am manger of national team, I was part of a the coaching staff in Israel, even as an adult and a young team, but I was never a coach, Now, I have no doubt at all that the difference between two things are very big , I'm glad I was able to experience this period, 2 good seasons, as a manger of a foreign national team.
At first, when I ran for the position of national team coach, I thought that the most significant part of the management team, is to recuit the best players, the best game shape, and play the best tactic for them.
I discovered that, it was the small part, little time, most of my time I invested in the training program of the younger generation, the young players who will be part of the NT roster, the team has good players aged 29+, but has no players between the ages of 26-28, and this is very significant.
Today, I follow and guide 13 players, their age range is between 22-25, who have the potential to reach to NT roster , I want to tell about the most great talents:
Wayne Burton (31216705) - young PG, only 23 yo, 62k salary, great manger who help me a lot, great PG, that today is the best point guard on the NT roster, and next season should be better than Wally Granner at its peak.
Arnold Bain (32268522) - very promising talent, in few seasons he should be a great guard, his potential (8) will limit him, but he would be a good player in the rotation.
Elton Cahill (30245122) - could be an amazing player, unfortunately, he stopped his training for several seasons, and returned to training only when I got to the NT, however, he will be a great shooter, when in a few weeks he need to be better than our best shooter today, Mu Chengchao.
Jeffrey Styles (31216831) - young SF, only 23 yo, low salary, only 22k, but, he is great player, more importantly he along with Burton, they are two biggest potentials for NZ NT, when I got the NT there was no Small forward, but Jeffrey is certainly great Small forward, need to practice some more about his shooting, and he will be one of the best SF.
Dylan Blundell (30245045) + Rory Day (32268391) - Both players are excellent, I write about them together, because first of all, they so good players, thanks to a wonderful coach, who coach both of them together, despite the young age, both are between our PF / C of the best that we have today.
Wally Granner - pure PG, who know how to pass very well, he almost didnt drop in any skill last 2 seasons, despite he 35 YO, he retired from NT roster, because of his age and by the fact that today, we have young players, better than him, but no doubt, in season 29, and the beginning of this season, we need him very much, admittedly also a coach who kept him in great game shape for most of the time.
Abhirup Zahra (21304609) - high salary player in our NT, Unfortunately, because of the high salary, he moved between teams , and could not keep his game shape.
Darren Fisher (24272165) - our best player, has great skills, keep on high game shape, I want player like him in my team.
Timothy Trahair (19824127) - nice PF, because we didnt have SF, he play a lot in SF position, next season, if Jeffrey keep on his training program, he need to return for his position, as a PF.
Jayse Wilkins (23030192) - not our best player if we look only about his skills, but, he because his great game shape, 9 almost every week, play a lot. nice PF/C.
Tawera Iupeli (21304646) - I really love this player, great guard, can play in PG position or SG position.
Ariel Cassar-Daley (19824332) - great SG, know to score and to pass very good.
Mu Chengchao (19824104) - out best shooter right now, but, in next few weeks Elton Cahill need to be better than him.

Thanks for two great seasons, I probably will not continue next season (I plan to run for Israel's national team training), but thanks to all of you, you have a nice team today, but with players with huge potential, we jumped the last two seasons about 20 places in the world rankings, But thanks to our wonderful young team, we should advance more and more next seasons, if the next coach will continue training young players, as I did, the NT should be much better.
I would love to help next coach of New Zealand National Team in the coming seasons .. I built a database of all the players from New Zealand who can play on the National Team, I would be happy to send it to the next National Team coach.
In addition, any additional help New Zealand coach will ask, I would love to give him, I hoping that in a next few seasons I come back to here again, a good team right now, but it has great potential, I believe New Zealand can get into the Top 50, in the next 4 seasons.
I just want to thank my wonderful assistant coach in New Zealand, Yosi-ISR - the manager of Maccabi Big Karmiel (92608), who helped me a lot.
