You still use JS in neutral offenses. If you are shooting alot of jumpers rather than threes, doesnt it make sense to have more JS than JR?

Considering that OD 'defends' both JS and JR and high OD (17-20) is quite common, I'd guess 21-13 would be more effective than 18-15 in many situations. Until BB-Marin and the Devs do boost JR, that is.

It would be interesting to see in a private league, running a similar comparative analysis (i.e. same defender at 17OD, a couple of times defend a 18-12 guard, and a couple of times defend a 16-14 guard in a tactical setting based on jumpers.

Anybody knows if I can I sign up to PL with a limited supporter package (Utopia bonus Marin announced).

I'm not sure that OD defends JR. Frankly, I don't think JR is defended by anything at all. JR is a measure of how easily or not a player can score outside the paint.

Speaking from memory at this point, but the statistical analysis on three point shots on the USA offsite did show OD as the relevant defensive skill against 3 point shots; an uncontested three point shot was mostly influenced by jump shot rather than JR, while a contested three point shot was mostly influenced by JR vs. OD. This is why a low JS/decent JR big man can often shoot a very high percentage from three against a very low OD big man.
