Alright, so I need some help with this potential and draft/scouting.
I'm a mediocre team in division IV, and I'm training a pretty decent 18yo PF with competent outside skills (1v1 forwards). No big deal.
Anyways, I have a couple of talented undersized SFs and a 6'9" big man, all 19 years old (not the big man).
The center is rated A- (18 y/o), and went 1-8 FG shooting in the game, along with 10 rebounds. He is a 5/5 prospect. However, I don't think I would really be able to train him to fulfill his potential.
The first SF I am looking at is 5/4, A+. Looks to have a pretty decent game. 7-16 FG, 2-2 on 3's, 4 steals. I could very much train him with 1v1 forwards so he can develop along with my current trainee (my team is bad enough that he starts every game).
The last SF is really, something I have never seen in BB after managing multiple teams over a course of 7,8 seasons (as far as the game). He is 5/3, and is A+. He went 19-19 on FGs, and 2-2 on 3's. He had 50 points.
Being in a low league level, I don't need that much as far as salary, and I would prefer to have homegrown players leading my team. I'm not sure about who I should put first on my preferences, because I won't be able to fulfill a 5/5 guy's potential, and I might fulfill the 5/3 guy's potential, especially at 19.
Thoughts?
