I had no idea there was a manager checklist, but it's probably helpful. Just bide your time and get training going while you're learning until demotion, and you can be more competitive in a lower league.

it basically teaches you how to play the game. But, it makes no impact on the game whatsoever.

Just starting up with this. Always feels pretty overwhelming trying to figure it out. The checklist sounds at least somewhat helpful.
