I currently have 42 scouting points (will be 46 as of tomorrow) and I wondered what would be the best way for me to use these to find the best players?

Would it be smart to use both the scouting combine and group demonstration?

I will be gaining 4 points per week so i will have a lot of points and will most likely have the number 1 pick

With 46 points I don't think you need to invest 4 points every week anymore. You'll be losing a lot of money this way. I would recommend lowering it to 2 a week since that is only 5k per point rather than 10k per point. As for the actual scouting I would do both the scouting combine and the group demo since you have so many points at your disposal. This will really help you find that 5/5 18 year old that you want. This will let you know who is 18 and who (to an extent) has 5 balls for star rating. Then just interview the best prospects you see.

The general advice I like to give is to do the combine first and sort by age and height. Then if there are 10 or more 18 year old 1 and 2 ball players, do the group demo. Scout all the 18 year olds with heights that you like and interview any 5 ball players that show up (and 4 balls if you really want to spend a lot of points). Last time I scouted, I used 64 points, but you might not need to spend that many.

Also, as EBW said, you are probably ok only investing 2 points per week. There are 7 (?) weeks left, so you will get 14 more points, this will get you to 56 points, which should be plenty. At 4 per week, you will end with 70 points. I guess it really depends on the depth of your draft. I would scout all your 18 year olds and then see how many more points you need to interview the 5 ball ones. You probably don't need more than that.

Congrats, you will have number 1 pick ... So who would you pick? Kwame Brown or Anthony Bennett?

Hope you will get a 5-star potential young player.

Bennett was in a bad draft, unlike this year.
