As U21 coach I can fully support the effort GullyFoyle has put into the U21 team consistently over the last 5 seasons or more, he is one of the most active in our community on the chat, forums and in support of our NT's. He is someone who I know will work hard for the community and someone who I can work with.

My question for all candidates is what will you do to connect with the U21 team / coach to support growth of new players in the community as that has not happened in the last 2 seasons at all.

Apparently I'm so long winded I got timed out and lost my absolutely fantastic reply. You'll all have to make do with a hasty reprint as I no longer have time to bore you all into voting for me, just to shut me up.

A huge thank you to Morwood for your kind words. Thanks also to Vecx for the support.

As for the question, as I mentioned in my other post, I feel communication is very important. The NT belongs to us all, as does the u21 team. The players belong to their clubs.

As for supporting the growth of new players, I think it was my answer to that, that led me to become timed out. Suffice to say its a difficult thing. It would be nice to have more people in the community. And to have more people post on the forums. We can't make people do it, but we can encourage it. Certainly I'd want people to feel free to post their thoughts on NT games, supportive or not.

I'd better wrap up before I get timed out again. My apologies for you all having missed out on my first full reply ;)

Well, it seems i end up with just the average in happy people bout my job...

I've just updated my excel file with database about all the interesting players i've found so far, i'll obviously mail it to the next coach if he wants it.

Good luck for him.

You did really well on the court Tuck, some good wins there for sure. I think people just wanted a bit more interaction on the forums etc.

To be fair he started off quite well on that front too, but then somehow he kind of disappeared. Good luck for the future, Tuck.

I seem to recall Tuck saying that life had got in the way. I don't think we can find fault there to be honest. As I said in the other thread I think he did a good job. Thanks for the good two seasons.

And certainly, the new coach, whoever that is, should get in touch with you, as that file will save him a lot of time.
