So which tactic have what pace, exactly? That guide is somewhat cloudy on some tactics, and doesn't have info about ISO..

I'm asking because of the new predictions thing.

BO - balanced, normal
Push - balanced, fast
Patient - balanced, slow

Motion - outside, normal
RNG - outside, fast
oISO - outside, slow

LP - inside, normal
LI - inside, fast
iISO - inside, slow

Questions:
1. Is patient outside oriented or balanced? I believe it's supposed to be balanced.
2. What's the exact speed of Low Post? Slow or normal?
3. What about the pace of ISO?

You take alot of three's with Patient and I don't know the rest

I think patient is a outside offense

You're right, but technically? How does it count?

In Philosopher Kings' guide, it says patient is "opposite of push the ball". I assume it was supposed to be a balanced offense with slow pace?

I think you take a lot of 3's with patient because that's the biggest "mismatch" in your favour. I'm pretty sure if you had an inside mismatch, then you'd be attacking the paint a lot.

I am also confused as to what counts as slow paced inside and outside offence tactics. Since it wasn't stated in rip's guide.

Slow doesn't do it justice. Glacial, maybe.

I'm not sure how they'd consider it in terms of outside or 'balanced' - I'd go with balanced based on the description in the tactics part of the game manual but it's just an odd offense altogether.

Thanks for your response, according to the game manual, patient counts as a balanced focus tactic.

ISOs count as normal pace.

Wow sorry, I just realized this thread is regarding the new game day preparation feature. I explained how the tactics actually play, not how they're designed to play.

In that case, I'd say:

1) patient is balanced
2) low post is slow?
3) ISOs are balanced paced (and perhaps balanced outside/inside?)
4) Princeton is slow (perhaps balanced inside/outside??)

edit: basically, I'd listen to the manual. maybe.

iso's nomal paced, inside and outside based, respectively.

Question is Princeton. It says in the manual it's inside/outside focused LOL How exactly is that designed in this GDP system, I have no idea

Maybe (hopefully) once this implementation starts rolling and picking up speed, the BBs will give us some more guidance on what exactly counts as what
