Just wondering how much of a difference in terms of popping an advanced trainer would make as opposed to a superior trainer. Thanks !

Most agree the difference is minimal. I believe the same, although I've never had under superior personally.

0-2 pops is probably a safe guess. I'd be leery of any data people provide (or guesses like mine). I've seen some crazy inaccurate crowd sourced training data before.

I have heard that on average, it is 1-2 more pops a season.

As said, the training difference is not that great, generally I've heard about 2 more pops per season, which does add up if you train your player for 10 years right?

I think the main difference between Advanced and Superior is if you are looking to make any U21 or NT players and how competitive the country is for the teams. If you are in USA, it'd be a lot more likely to get your player into the U21 or NT with a Superior trainer rather than an Advanced. Those 6 pops would make a big difference. However, if you're just training for the sake of your own team (organic growth) maybe you don't care as much if you lose out on those 1-2 pops every season. Personal choice

If you really want to get all technical about it. Yes. In terms of training SB only, you'd get maybe 1 more pop on SB, but then we can go and say the extra sub levels you get on cross/secondary training also increases as well. We can also then say that it may be those sub levels that pop your ID/RB to the next level. So, will they be tangible pops? Maybe not, but if you were to include all the effects of a lvl 4 vs 5 trainer, yes you'd get about 1-2 extra pops in a season.

Personally when I hear 1-2 pops extra a season, I didn't think it'd be as drastic as training SB from 14 to 16 instead using a higher level trainer. I thought of it as, including the primary, and secondaries/cross training which sometimes can't be seen. Although I can see how the saying can be ambiguous
