Do I have good enough players to stay up in D4? I looked through my opponents rosters and see that they have bigger salary rosters than I do but I also dealt with that in D5 last season. My arena is probably way behind what it should be since I promoted so quickly. I was looking to upgrade my PR manager to competent before the season starts. Also I am wondering why my tv contract didn't go up. It is still 58k like in D5. I have about 250k in the bank right now so if you have suggestions of what to do go ahead and tell me.

Offseason processing is not complete yet, so your TV Contract money isn't updated, and your players haven't aged either.

As of what to do with your money, I'd prioritize building up your arena. If it's not big enough, you can't support a competitive team either. I'd try to keep at least 30-50k weekly profit (I don't know what's realistic for your division, try to be above average). If you go above that, you can buy a new player to reinforce your team.

If you like, you should invest 50-100k in a nice trainee. Aim for at least pereniall allstar with 45+ skill points, and make sure it doesn't have holes in important skills (mainly OD/PA for guards, ID/IS for bigs). Since you just promoted, you're gonna lose games anyway, so it doesn't matter to much that you play a rookie, and you can train him out of position too.

Like the guy above me said, build up your arena and take advantage of the promotion bonus. You should get your arena up to at least 9k this season, but try to build more than that if you can. I also looked at your roster and you need to get rid of your 35 year old SG and get a younger one, because his skill will only get worse now, which will hurt you as the season progresses. Also since you run look inside a lot, you will also need to upgrade your big men, because your current ones just won't cut it at this level.

With those changes, I believe you can achieve sixth place finish this season and win your relegation series, as long as you manage your enthusiasm and game shape properly.

Nah you will definitely win your relegation series. There are 3 extremely weak teams with very small arenas in the big 8. I doubt they will be able to load up on enough talent come playoff time.

Well, since you're representing Gator Nation, I have to help out.

The best thing I'd say is that if you look at the career stats for Mucsi, your highest paid player, you'll see that he's got a lifetime assist to turnover ratio of 1:197. That's not at all desirable. I would encourage you to get in the habit of ensuring that any big man you buy has at minimum average in OD, HA and PA - OD because it does help prevent open looks and handling and passing so your guy won't be a turnover machine and will isntead help you get a few more open shots, thus leading to more efficiency on the offensive end.

Try to be above average... well the average income in the league is -$41k so being in the negatives would still be above league average.

Well, look for inside skills too, but there are a ton of big men out there at all skill ranges, and it's worth taking the time to get those secondaries.
