i think what he means is
two easy wins which you should have play in TIE
the two easy wins means that the 2 teams you faced were very far apart from you (your team was WAY better then them, and you could've beat them in Take it easy)
and
one defeat you could have let go with a TIE too
that means the team you faced was WAY better then you and you couldn't have won on normal and well Crunch Timing brings down your enthusiasm. So TIE would've been the best bet.
