I've spent the majority of my short time in this game training guards, and planned on doing so for the next season or two based on the fact that my main trainee still has some room to grow. I just found a prospect in the draft (wasn't planning on using points this season, but I'm drunk so eff it) that's listed as a C, 18 years old and 5/5. I'm picking late in the round (14th, I think) but think there's a decent chance I can pick him up based on my league being comprised of a few new teams, and a few established teams that don't seem to put much into the draft.
That's the set up, here's the question:
If I manage to get him, what's my best course of action? Do I sell him for as much as I can get, or is it worth training his secondaries for a season or two until my guard gets where I want him to be? There's definitely pros and cons to both options, but I wanted to get some feedback from those of you that know more than me, and that'd be most of you.
Thanks in advance for the help.
