Sutton once donated blood to a sick young boy. Thanks to this, that boy would quickly recover from his illness, and went on to become a beast Australian centre himself. His name was Dylan Scoggins.
Sutton's miracle blood would prove to be useful again in the season 19 ABBL finals when Leszek Anczykowski was having severe issues with his shooting form. Sutton mixed a small amount of his blood into Leszek's energy drink during the pre-game shootaround before game 3 and Leszek went on to score 27 points (11-24 FG) and 14 assists in the win.
In season 22 an imposter sneaked onto the court disguised as Sutton in a match against Slam and played like a scrub (2 PTS, 2 REB, 3 TO). That imposter is now serving 100 years in prison for severe defamation to the name of the ultimate beast. The real Sutton, even at his advanced age of 50, would have scored 20 points and 10 rebounds at least.
These days, when he's not acting as the de facto coach of the Lewisham Wombats, he runs a training clinic for Australian Power Forwards and Centres who are looking to get drafted into the pro's. Sutton has a high success rate for turning his students into 5 ball potential players, though he does warn them not to become too good at the game, lest they suffer the same fate as him of being banned from the league.
