Hi Guys, thanks for all the votes. I will start working on our young players. If you guys have player with age 18-19 and potential min Starter, most likely you'll be receiving my msgs. Or you can notify me via bbmail.

Just a short briefing for what is our U21 going to be for Season 22, that we might not perform like what our World Rank (#17) showed us. Our rosters are quite limited, and our best U21 player on S22 most likely won't be in good GS due to his commitment on league games. Please bear with me, for at least 1-2 season.

Btw, Thanks for Phyo that has provided me some player information.

1. After hearing you speech, now as a U21 head coach, what is your first agenda will be?
U21: Homework as usual, updating our U21 player skills. Then select out 10 best player for the main roster.

2. Any young star might be captain for this season??
U21: Initially should be Li Jin Yew of Wonder Boys team. But due to his commitment to his club, he might not be 100% yet on U21. So the possible captain would be either Long Mingfa (PG) from 新政 or Yip Su Yeng (C) from NANDA

3. From the roster you have, did you see any young prospect you look forward to that might be the future for NT?
U21: Akhuga Chawla from NINJASG and Fan Pingwai from Lionheart Jaguar

4. what is the target or goal for this season and in future?
U21:
Goal for this season are :
1. To make sure the team is competitive enough on Asia Tournament this season. Reason is because the quality of this season U21 are quite unique even though aren't the best. And I'm looking forward to maximize on what they can do.

2. To focus more on players below 20 yo. We need to tune them up so they are ready for next season.
For next season and future, I will be spending more time on 18 yo players, which I might not be able to fully do it on this season.

5. hows is it feel to come back again to be the U21 head coach again?
U21: Feels good to be back, especially with the positive ambience from SGP managers. Really appreciate it !!

6. do you need any help to assist you in this campaign?
U21: For now, I still able to work independently. But eventually, for a better player development focus, I will be looking for few U21 Scouts. If any managers here willing to help out, that will be very cool.

7. any last word for the everyone in this nation?
U21: For managers that still phobia on training player, please let me know if you want to try.

Five seasons ago, Xavis (our longtime SGP team) once told me that he dislike training, but decided to train his two draftees and made the U21 team on S20 and S21.

Anything is possible, so don't hesitate to bbmail me. (RaneLone I hope you read this :p )

Young Lions finalized rosters, ready for S22 Asian Qualifier Tournament

A quick look at the rosters, and they do seem distant from the Nation world rank.

The team will be expected to lean more on their best player, Li Jin Yew. However, Li's team (Wonder Boys) commitment on league games might take away some of his focus on U21 games.

As have been highlighted by U21 Manager Ben, rather than winning games, this season onwards will be focusing more on starting over the development on player under 20 yo. "It will be unfair to expect current squad to achieve the similar level as the Nation ranks. But we will still make sure they are competitive," said Ben.

For team Captain, Yip Su Yeng is selected to lead the team. Yip, played on last season Consolation games, is the most experienced on the rosters, and also a fierce competitor on the court.

The roster also featuring few 19 yo bloomers, Fan Pingwai and Tan Wei Shi, whom are expected to improve a lot on this season.

Team Singapore has arrived on Hongkong on Sunday morning, and did some light practice to prepare Game 1 versus Vietnam U21. The match will be playing on Monday night 7.30 pm.

Akhuga Chawla big night scored Singapore first victory over Vietnam 110-78.

Hardly anyone can remember when was the last time any Singaporean U21 player has more than 10 dimes on a game and with the team have achieved a perfect Free Throw shooting on a game.

Akhuga Chawla hyperactive plays had him registered 15 points 11 assists and 4 steals to lead Singapore cruise past shorthanded Vietnam team 110-78.

The match were tight on 1st quarter, where Viet shooter Hoc Nguyên kept firing all over the floor. As 2nd quarter starts, Singapore bigmen start to threw their weights around, resulted tons of inside shots and briefly skied for a lead 55-36 before intermissions.

Vietnam did some short rally to close within 13, but Singapore Yip Su Yeng and Tan Ying Liang were very active and once again put the lead balooned to 23 points at the end of 3rd quarter. Vietnam run out of gas at 4th, and Singapore ended the night with 110-78.

Tan Ying Liang and Yip Su Yeng both scored 22 points and 7 rebounds for Singapore. Li Jin Yew had 16 points and Mohd Syamsuri Ahmad scored 11.

"Our boys were enjoying the game out there." said manager Ben. "And this is the first time I witness them shooting Free Throw very well."

Singapore will face Kiwi on their second Tournament game on next week Monday.
