The Indian team has the big challenge of not enough trainers or trainees. How would you handle this and what do you think are the prospects of the team winning at all?

Some questions all of the candidates, how do you plan on managing the team? What will be your methodology to improve our team ? What type of approach will you take? What kind of strategies will you employ? Do you prefer a certain type of skill set for one position over another? What are your goals for the team? Do you have your staff members(how many are they) because in India everyone is quite busy and you'll have only 1 or 2 to help you. Are you sure you are not having any internet access problem and will not leave team in between ? And how'll you handle our low trainer and trainee count ? Etc
Thanks

This is a problem of lots of country, but in my BB life i've seen that every year is a new year with new trainers and trainees. By the way, i think solutions to training problems are 2:
- guide trainers to well train players which have a training plan yet
- find people who can train a player in the whole BB world community, because it's a deal in which both have advantages (both can have a new player)

For the 2nd question, i hope I understand that you are referring to a general case. For this, i think that players must be almost all-around, if possible. So a point guard has to be a good shooter, a good defender for example, not only a player with 20 in passing skill and one digit value in other main skills. By the way, I think that if we don't have all-around players, we must concentrate on: Specific shot, Specific defense, Passing for all and rebounding for big men.

Thank you and sorry for my English, maybe i could made some mistakes. :)

I want to concentrate on training. I think that it's very important to create a training method that can be useful for all situations. I think that the best way to improve team is make a team which can easily change between outside and inside attack, fast and slow attack. To do that, i think the best way is to involve the community to an active partecipation when possible, or at least an exchange of opinion regarding players. I want to create a team that can use every match strategy without any problem.

Do you prefer a certain type of skill set for one position over another?

I'd rather do a list. (Main skills, important but not main skills)

PG: passing, jump shot, outside defence jump range, handling, driving
SG:jump shot, jump range, outside defence passing, driving, handling, inside shot
SF: jump & inside shot, inside and outside defence passing, jump range
PF: inside shot & defence, rebounding passing, jumpshot
C: inside shot & defence, rebounding passing

What are your goals for the team?

I want to be realist, so I say improve world ranking.

Do you have your staff members(how many are they)?

Surely 1, but i've 2 other friends of mine that can help me sometimes.

Are you sure you are not having any internet access problem and will not leave team in between ?

No, not at all! :)

And how'll you handle our low trainer and trainee count ?

I think my previous post can answer to this question ;)

Thank you all. :)

I am happy to see two experienced managers showing their interest in the NT.and i am sure that whoever is the winner of those two will definitely help the team(more than i did).
here are a few questions to the candidates-
Do you have any experience of managing an NT before?(i am asking this because i faced many problems in managing the U21 NT as it was my first time managing the NT and i did a lot of mistakes)
I have assembled the best U21 players which i could find but they are way below par.so what will be your main focus this season-will it be to win games or will it be to save players?(at the cost of enthusiasm of course)
And last is the thing which i lacked the most-Communication.as bball king said that there are only a few indian managers who would help you as your staff members(though i will definitely like to help the U21 NT) so how will you distribute the trainees to lets say 4-5 staff members?

Yes, England NT and South Africa U21 NT :)

I don't know yet, first i prefer to see how season is going, but i don't want to lose neither match nor players.

how will you distribute the trainees to lets say 4-5 staff members?

According to number of staff member, maybe i will choose a kind of players to everyone. For example, in my staff there are: A, B, C and D.
A will think about PG, B about SG, C about SF and D about big men, obviously when possible and under my direction ;)

Thank you :)

Maybe last 2 matches. This could be a good fixture, due to 2 winnable games position.

Well i think there are two types of managers, the active ones and the inactive ones.
I want to communicate with the active ones and help them making the right decisions to give their trainees the best possible training.
And inactive managers...well just like bballchamp i have to save their top prospects from retirement.
But the most important factor is really supporting managers with indian top prospects.

Your second question....winning....i already mentioned it in my speech. Winning is not my main target, i want to help the managers making their indian talents better and giving them experience to play in the u21 team. I am a pretty successfull manager in Germany and I know how to win games. We will also win games. But it's not my main target.
Once again: The talents that have the best (long term) perspectives have to play!
