I hate games like this. Go in against a team you don't think you can hang with, on the road, and hang around just long enough to get your hopes up that you might steal one.

lol... ya gave me a scare for sure... that's a lot closer than I expected anyone below 3rd to hang with me... but to be totally honest, you werent supposed to win that one. something screwed up with my tactics, a couple of the guys I listed as starters didn't play a single minute. that'd be another one where I'd be going on a rant if I lost.

If you want to go back and review your tactics, go to set tactics for an upcoming game, and there's a pull down menu that you can select the older game, it will show you what you actually set. Whenever something is funky with my games, I'll check that to see where I screwed up.

already did, and reported it in the help section of the forum... everyone keeps saying that it was because I hit "coach picks from depth chart" for my substitution tactic.

When you went back and checked your tactics from the pulldown, was the substitution coach picks? Coach picks is a bit bugged I've heard, and might be the cause of this weird minute distribution.

Generally I use "strictly follow" to ensure that the starters don't overload on minutes, or I'll use "let coach decide" if I want the best players on the court the most. At least you didn't learn about this with while taking a crucial loss (*tries to see silver lining*).

Looks like things remain as interesting for teh top spots here in V.72. I'll definitely be following along. Will this be the year that Mr Winless or minnesotagreeners depart the league? Or will one of the newcomers make a statement to the contrary? Exciting stuff.

Tuesday night's match will be the game to watch if you're trying to figure that out. Minnesota visits my home court, and the winner takes the inside track to the championship. Greeners, with a win, all but clinches the regular season title (the rest is just a formality), while I'd still have a tough game to go in the form of MrWinless at home. Home court will be pretty crucial going into playoffs, since the scoreboard clearly shows these 3 teams are very evenly matched, so I'm REALLY hoping to run the table.

And yes, I was in "coach picks from depth chart", I figure that's what happened here.

thanks... but he ran a normal effort, so it wasnt as convincing as it would seem. I fully expceted him to go crunch time on me, he'd done it 3 times in a row before this. I think I would have won anyway, considering I wound up going into garbage time with 10 minutes to play, but it still feels a little wrong to get the win that way.

At the end of the day though, I have to remember that a W is a W, this late in the season especially.
