Mr Children, no doubt you are well qualified, but maybe too well. Why have you gone from China to UAE?

Very pleased to meet you again:)

First,in China,we have many good managers,some of them have played this game from Season 6 or earlier,Chinese club have won BBB Champion in Season 17 & Season 18.I mean they are much better and more experienced than I,and they will participate in the China NT Coach's elections,so maybe I am more suitable for assistant Coach now~

Second,in last season,I noticed you did a good job in India U21,this gives me a lot of inspiration.U.A.E is one of my favourite country,I'd like to led their NT to get better results,this is a big challenge for me,and at the same time I was able to gain mor experience of NT affairs.

The Third,I have a good player:Salim El-Gibril(17524870),he is U.A.E NT player and he will be U.A.E's future.I hope I can bring him play NT matchs and share the glory with all the managers and fans.

Thanks. Excellent response. I am not a voter but I am sure th UAE voters will have to look at you with interest.

What you wrote is all very sweet and nice - but really and honestly - just because you have a young UAE player qualifies you for manager?? And sweet-talking the Seagulls when he obviously asked sugar-coated questions is not a debate but a mutual-admiration club of which both of you are members.

Now come on - how will you specifically try to improve the standing of UAE? What will you do? How will you achieve your goals?

In my speech I was specific as to my intentions and how I will reach them, please let us know what exactly you will do and how. Also, please do not copy and paste what I wrote that would not be sporting!!

Anyone can make promises. Four seasons ago I was looking really carefully at all the NT folders (well all the English once) to see what people were saying in their speeches and some were just clearly lies. "I will monotor the progress of all young players in the nation each week", "I will introduce a new secret training strategy that will allow our players to progress faster than those of other nations," "I will make UAE a top 10 nation in the world." Despite these being clearly lies I saw several people making these sort of claims get elected.

It seems you can just say almost anything in these elections and get away with it. This is not an attack on you or Mr Children. I am just saying that escalating promises can be completly vaccous.

I didn't know I had done that, if I did sorry. Did you ever see the Simpsons episode when Mr Burns was trying to get elected and Lisa had to ask him questions.

BURNS Ooh, a tough question but a fair one. Lisa, there's no single answer. Some voters respond to my integrity, others are more impressed with my incorruptibility. (Lisa leaves the table) Still others buy my determination to lower taxes. And the bureaucrats in the state capital can put that in their pipes and smoke it!

Of course, you are right, people will and do say anything and everything. I hope that people who vote can see that. All I or indeed anyone can do is stand on their past record. I can only show you my past accomplishments, I invite everyone to see my team history since I joined BB in season 13. As for my attributes of being organized and very competitive and goal driven that, I hope, is evident by what I have done so far. That is all I can offer what I have so far accomplished. As to what I will do as UAE manager, I can only state my intentions. One of which does NOT include making UAE a world top 10 team - that will take many many seasons, but certainly moving up 10 to 15 spots is, I hope, possible within a 2 season mandate. I make NO promises but I also will tell NO lies. So far, I am making all the statements where is Mr Children to state his case?

Part of the problem for UAE is that there are no national team players being developed in the top league. All the players on the national team are being developed elsewhere. That in itself is not disturbing, what needs to be addressed is the lack of talent that is actually being developed by the top UAE league teams. A quick look at those rosters has revealed that not one player is ready to make the jump to the national team. The national team roster also is in a state of regression, Thailand, ranked # 96 or so is actually on par with the UAE team if not better. Season 19, UAE will head pressed simply to keep it's cuurent ranking. If one cares for progress, a long term view is necessary where young players are kept and developed instead of being immediately sold for a quick buck. I am willing to work to address this situation in partnership with UAE teams so that a turn around program can be put in place. All I need is your votes!!

By the way - I am just curious about how the UAE managers feel about their national team - I have created a small poll in the UAE I.1 forum where you can leave your feedback.
