I would like to offer up my candidacy to serve the Nippon community as National Team manager.

Previously I was Nippon U21 manager for 4 seasons from S14-S17. I had a rough start with not much talent to work with. Over time, working with all the mangers of our players we built up the quality of talent and improved the team. In S16 season we qualified for the second round of the Asia tournament. In S17 I started the team on one of its best runs ever where it eventually won 11 of 13 games and achieved a peak rating of 50. Since that run the team has gone 1-9 and dropped to 67th.

I achieved success with U21 by learning how to get the maximum output out of the players we have based on available players skills, game shape, and picking the best matchups against our opponents. As I mentioned last season, Wolph is probably the better choice for U21 manager because of his dedication and focus on how to develop players for Nippon and his ability to be highly active in communicating with many managers across our breadth of prospects. I think I am the best choice for NT manager because I can get the most out of our players and I will be dedicated to communicating with the core NT players and prospects on how to get our team to the next level.

As NT manger I will have two simple objectives, Win Now and Win More Later. With this in mind I will build the program in three groups of players. First we will have a core of 8-10 players who are the best we have to offer now and can help us achieve the best possible success this season. Second, we will fill out the remaining roster spots with our best prospects who are most likely to be key contributors to NT in the future, possibly leaving 1-2 spots open for late season adds. Third, we will maintain a list of other possible prospects/U21 players who may be a little farther away but with the right training have the potential to be on the team.

Additionally, you can expect much better communication than what we have had from NT in the past. As I did as U21 manager, I will maintain the U21 blog to give a weekly status update, game summary, and weekly depth chart. We will also maintain a NT discussion thread in the forums where I will actively discuss the team with you. Also, I will work closely with Wolph on transitioning top prospects to NT and encouraging the development of high potentials.

If you give me the honor of representing you as NT coach I promise to turn the team into something we can all be proud of again.

Hello, I'm running for NT coach.

This is the part where one makes some promises, but I really can't promise any results, though we never quite made it to the top.

Yet this is changing the next Asian tournament might be the hardest ever for us.

We never got around to fixing our major disadvantage ( we have comparably weak big men).

This is the plan:
1. Fix the big men problem by putting one high salary C at the center of my club team
2. Investigate every possible way of constructing players to create mismatches
3. Keep all the structure that we have in place for thinking about tactics and game-plans

I have a pretty strong track record of making decisions with my club team.

As for the community we need to get more involvement from the top teams. We have a great group of users on the offsite already from the top leagues but we don't have enough of them fully on board with us to provide the best group of players that we can to compete against the top level teams.

There are two duties that I consider core and that cannot be delegated. They are:
I) game planning and timely communication of game-planning (basically a thread needs to go up on Thursday, Friday at the latest) to allow for ample discussion.
II) maintaining db entries for the top 30-40 players and communicating with their owners.
