Hi Guys I just promoted into this league. I'm slowly building, so won't be any threat this season.

Welcome NCSU! It's fun to have you here, because in our division we had a team called Wolf-Pack for the longest time, until he dropped out three years ago.

I enjoy the league, we've got 3 long long time members (myself, Detroit, and Monster Island) all who are continually strong, plus Springfield who has worked great stuff for quite a few years now. I'm hoping I can sneak past Crusaders this year on our side and maybe finally promote.

I think you found your way into a pretty regular D IV league, some solid teams, some teams in flux. Wish you well, and if we can answer any questions, I'm sure there's plenty of people happy to help :)

I look forward to the competition. I am trying to build this team through the draft and just hope not to regulate this season.

I see that I don't have the payroll yet to be competitive here. Looks like I'll be here a few seasons.

Well, I'd say it isn't all about payroll (and mind has shrunk significantly since I moved towards finishing my roster reorganization). Interesting numbers, I'm guessing you got them using one of the BB-connected sites? Which one?
Based upon that you have a higher average than me (and since the guys moved were above average, I'm guessing that has only further separated). But believe it or not I'm quite convinced this will be my year 8-)
Having a low payroll is great in that you can make more money, if nothing else :-) Develop up that arena, it's the key to sustainability, definitely.
I'm hoping to get out before Ice Storm really becomes a beast. Can't believe an NBBA player just yesterday it seems is down here with us middlings. But look at his roster, all under 21, about 2/3 of very very high talent. I'm guessing he's training like a mad man... I just hope to escape his wrath if that's so!

For instance, Rues beat RoyalDieHard... and Crusadersx didn't exactly obliterate charlotte. Is the lineup well-rounded? Are the proper tactics used? Have the players played together (I have a feeling that the latter has a fair bit to do with how they play, though have no evidence for it). We'll see. I'm banking on a much stronger season than last year while with one half my team under restructuring :)

I use buzzer-manager. Don't mean to imply salary is everything, but other things being equal, it is important. Just as scouting, tactics and game conditioning is important.

R.I.P Detroit Darts. I finally get a win over them and now they're gone.

They're gone!?! Hadn't checked. Oye :-( :-(

I may be in D IV for 52 seasons, but I intend to stick with it until things improve. If nothing else, keep stockpiling cash :-p

So much for that, huh? Nice win, your team really took advantage of my young interior. Time to reconsider my expectations maybe :-) But I'd think you've got a strong shot at avoiding issues of relegation, and wouldn't be shocked if you're amongst the playoffs. Nice work
