One of the things I love about this game is the promotion process. It was fun when I was battling to get to JBBL and it is fun to watch each year to see which teams can make it up.

With just 6 games left in the season it is time to take a look at where things stand.

First who will relegate from JBBL. Below are the teams who may face a relegation match. 3 teams are basically guaranteed of relegation so there will be only one real battle to try and stay up. Freeters will have HCA and probably wants it more but aisteru has been around long enough to be able to probably make a strong final push. Going with the team that wants it.

Relegation Odds
3A 100%
Umi Says 100%
Sashiogi Heaven 100%
aisteru.4ever 65%
Miyazaki Freeters 35%
Isehara Pistons 0%
STO 0%

The promotiIon side will be much more interesting. Since no active teams play in II.3 and II.4 the 4 promoting teams will come from II.1 & II.2. Below is the current ranking based on current records. Any team that is outside the top 4 at the end of the season will have to win its championship to gain promotion. Current leaders are marked with * bellow.

Rank Team League W L PD
1 *Mythical Man-Mouth II.2 16 0 977
2 Okyama Chon II.2 15 1 837
3 *Kyoto Shogun II.1 15 1 770
4 BBstAr II.1 14 2 765
5 Elandstraat 263 II.2 14 2 739
6 NKRK II.1 14 2 638
7 Shikoku Otaku II.1 13 3 650

(I wish they had tables available for these posts, the data would come across much better)

Currently #11 in Japan, and just quietly I am confident my ability to beat either of the II.2 teams (no offense intended to either). It's a pity that II.1 is so loaded. Still.

Great post, thankx. As I am currently only Nr. 20 in the japanese hierarchy I probably don't really deserve a place in JBBL. If I survive, the teams that will come up will be my personal waterloo. But it's no secret, although aisteru.4ever recently boosts it's center massively and having a powerful guard, I won't throw in the towel easily. To stay in JBBL is like a mission from god, amen ... Did you HEAR that «I love you dot four ever», huh? ...

Oh wow ... I just see that he sold his center I spoke of. Wondering if he will voluntarily relegate or just plan to use the money to beat me to the ground in the end ... We will see
