Hi,
Over this years, have you ever seen any improvements of the national team? Sadly the answer is no. Infact, its getting worser and worser every season. (see fig 1)
Here is my plan, a two to three seasons intensive scouting and nurturing young stars.
-Intensive scouting: Will be looking into the upcoming drafts and also scouting for Singapore players under 21 years of age. Why 21? some ask... If they have good skills and potential, they will definitely develop into future SG stars... By the time, after 2 or 3 seasons, they will be much stronger and ready to face the Asians countries. Why scouting works? we have to identify the talents and attempt to collaborate with SG managers to buy them and nurture them. As nowadays, SG players bought by other countries manager were use as backups and not training them well. Plus, they are selling SG players at higher prices because SG has a realatively small amount of managers playing. This scouting will definitely benefit everybody, as usually SG players salary is lower too.
-Nuturing young stars: As stated, we start early, the more time the players could buff up and grew stronger after every training. Also, i will be focusing on the related skills that are required for the position of the player. (E.g. Centre needs good rebounding, shot blocking and inside shooting) so i will be focusing on this will particular area for the Centre and so on for other positions.
Game shape and stamina is a must have for every player. This is the key to break down opp def's and offense!
Reasons for needing 2 to 3 seasons because, we need to get their stamina up and running, so as to ensure that the main 5 star players could last a longer time and bring some victories back to our home ground. Also, without gameshape, players will be launching all kinds of shot and missing all of them. So it takes time to train up on all tis areas!
First focus: Stamina
Second Focus: Mix of necessary skills and game shape.
Third Focus: Skills
Forth Focus: Game shape
5th focus: at end of the season, train other skills like for centre: passing (its also important as the centre could draw some players to him and toss the ball out for a 3 pointer)
Things may varie as we are looking at the teams we are gonna face. Diff teams have diff training structure. If i am elected, The schdule will be out in no time. :)

I know many of you guys think that i am not experience enough, but look at my records i am constantly improving. 1 and the half season jumping from ranking 80+ to 37 now.
I have listed out the plans of the coming season, sincerely hope you SG peeps could vote wisely and weigh the consequences of each other managers running for the election as some measures like the previous one, using players salary over 100k will not work...
If elected, i will also set up a community with the chosen SG managers and worked together to make SG a better and stronger place and of course much richer.
Cheers,
SGP_Nyx.
