Thought I'd pose this to the PL forum.

Is there any BB app that can count your career stats for your players?

What other good tools are out there?

hahaha relax its not one of our super secret tools, its just something to calculate career stats

i just had a look through the BBAPI docos, theres a limitation there
it only pulls historical stats back for players as long as they were on your team, it doesnt pull the historical stats if the player was playing for a different team.. that sucks

its still possible to do by screen scraping the website, but thats a pain in the bum

Give this a try!
Its a simple app that will look at your players history (during the time they have been with your team), and calculate career averages. Statistics are based only on public league games (Private League, Scrimmage and CUP games don't count). Thats just the limitations of the BBAPI unfortunately.

A neat thing you can do is highlight certain seasons and delete it, and it will automatically recalculate the averages based on the remaining seasons.

You'll need to install this (.net framework redist 4) to run it though (all my dev is on the .net framework)
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17718

You can find the app here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/bbsniper/files/CareerStatsCalculator.exe/download

Have fun, and let me know the bugs you find!
