I just promoted to DIII, and am having a hard time of it. My team is not good enough to compete. My goal this year is to not relegate, which will be no easy task. In the meantime, I don't have enough money to upgrade my roster even though I should stay in the black every week financially...

Basically I'm going to scrap away at wins to try and stay in my league, while investing in the draft to either train a stud, or sell a stud to make some cash to find some immediate help, it will depend on whether or not I relegate probably.

Anyway, I know there's some other people out there who feel like season 16 is going to be a long one. Here's one manager who's with you!

Increase your ticket prices and focus on expanding your arena a bit. Training a stud prospect won't help you stay in DIII, at least not for a couple seasons at least. But your fans are clearly happy you are in DIII even though you are losing. They won't be so forgiving next season, so you should be taking advantage of that now.

I have a shot at the playoffs in our league and I am still looking forward to next season! lol. You just need to stay above Senecaville and you have a shot at a relegation series at least. Either way it is a good idea to expand the arena and raise ticket prices as you are going to sell seats because you just promoted.

I am going to sell a couple of my guys at the end of the season even if I make the playoffs. My young trainees are growing up. I'm going to sell one of my 2 stud SG's, and possibly 2 bigs. Looking to buy an upgrade at PF and a decent backup big man. Lots of things going on...I think if my plan is successful I'll buy another 18yo SF trainee and train guards for 1-2 more seasons then start training bigs. I may be ready for a championship run next season if I can make the right moves on the TL....we will see.

Hang in there and shoot me a bb-mail if you ever want advice or need any input on your opponent as I am familiar with this league.
