Why does a Center, with zero outside ability, try 3 pointers? The team is running a Princeton, which is a patient offense looking for the open shot. No way the Center gets in that position.

And 4 out of 5 possessions where "(player) tries to corral the ball but it goes out of bounds".

Buzzerbeater's been a decent game, but I think I'm done. Teams grow too slow and you can't get them to do normal basketball things on the court. The aggravation just outweighs the fun by a bit too much.

From the wikipedia page for the Princeton offense:

All five players in the offense—including the center—should be competent at making a three point attempt, further spreading the floor

Doesn't seem that unrealistic to me. The NBA has mostly big centers who would never take a 3, but the NCAA and most foreign leagues have well rounded big guys that play more like 3's or 4's. Even in the NBA, Dirk, Bargnani, Odom, Love, Frye among others are 7 footers or near 7 footers who take lots of 3's.

The player tries to grab rebound text line goes both ways and is just a way of spicing text up. It does happen on plenty of contested rebounds...

If you're not feeling the game though, have a nice life.

Yeah I think you need to go watch an old Princeton game. Your best passing big will play the high post and pick apart the defense by finding cutting players and open shooters who all play the perimeter. If your center isn't your best passer he will play the perimeter. And if he has an open shot, he will shoot it. So I would suggest matching your offense to your players ability. And if you really do want to play Princeton you need to develop or buy players that match that offense. It can be very effective if you do.

Based on the thread title alone, I'm pretty upset that no one has made an Almond Joy reference.

I am allergic to all tree nuts, peanuts (which is technically a legume), and even coconuts :-) Almonds are a tree nut, and a sure path to death for me...So I have to skip on the Almond Joy :-)
