It says your team will play at a lower level of play when you use this option, but how much lower. My current enthusiasm is 6...so by using TIE would my team play at say a level 4 or lower. I'm considering using it so it can help me later in the season/playoff time. If your team is much better than your opponent have any of you used this option and still won by a considerable margin, or just got outperformed? I'm sure the results will vary...but just trying to get a better understanding of it and how negatively it affects your players performance. Thanks.

Some people say that playing TIE at ent 8 is same like playing normal at ent 5. There is some people thet do not agree with that. With TIE you will probably lose first 1 or two games (if your oponents are lot weaker than you you may win), but when you reach high ent you will have nice advantage against teams that play normal al the time.
In S15 playoffs I beat solidly stronger team with 10+ in both games cose my ent was 9 (away game) and 7 or 8 (home game), and he had only 5. We both played CT.

if you are facing a bot team or a team that never changes the attacking and defensive tactics and also if you have a stronger squad then theirs, i would say go with TIE. because in this case you will have the tactical advantage (knowing what tactic he will apply and countering it) and also with the squad advantage i tried TIE many times but haven't lost.

I usually play TIE against the 6-8 seed teams in my league once we have played 4 or so games, and especially if i see that they only have 1-2 good players or if they always use the same tactic. this has helped me using crunch time against better teams, and it has worked out well for me (i would recommend using it).

If playing TIE brings the ent up by 1/3 for your next game, then I'd say you'll play at around level 4 (6-1/3). That's an estimate.

Here I had ent 6 I think. 3 of my best inside men didn't even play for minutes purposes and I played TIE. At the end... +51.

you can also use it when you are surely going to lose a match. so why waste enthusiasm

Managing Enth is the key to winning. I never CT a game until playoff and almost TIE every reg season game. I will normal games against a really strong opponent. I try to keep my enth about 10.

I find doing the above gives me a nice advantage.

On the contrary, say you use CT with an enthusiasm of 10....what would be your enthusiasm level for next game....10 minus 1/3?

It halves if you CT. You would return to 5.

If you play CT your ent will drop for 1/2, so if it is 10, it will fall to 5...

Who are you replying to? Me or phelps?

To answer the question... 10/2=5 In your next game you'll have 5 ent. But in this game you're playing CT, you'll play at about level 15 (10+5).
