Ok, I'm new around here, but wouldn't I be right in thinking that some of the asking prices for some of the Japanese players on the Player Market are a touch on the obscene side... given the draft's less than a week away?

Yes! Gimme help! I am more than willing to get advice...

Yup, I work in an elementary school... and have a bit of time mid-afternoon (usually!). Thanks for the tip on shopping.

What I'm trying to do now is get some guys who are 'solid' at the guard/SF positions, and focusing on bigs (my draft SUCKED!)... but I do have a center that's solid, and only 19. Should I ditch training PFs and focus entirely on centers?

Gotcha on the arena, I've started to expand it, and from tomorrow (I hope!), it'll be:
4900 bleachers
550 lower tier
50 courtside
5 luxury boxes

Feel free to give me any info at all!

Yup, been reading, and with the arena I've slowly increased all areas. The next thing on the list of 'to do' is to work out what my team's fans will support as far as ticket costs. Slowly does it!

Player-wise, depending on what I can pick up, I think it probably will provide greatest dividends to go 1 position... I might be able to get my PFs a bit of action at center too.

Hey, another question: does game time provided in PLs go towards training?

Japanese players are typically way over priced, but that may just be that all players are overpriced and there are so few Japanese players that its hard to find one not overpriced.

Been doing a LOT of checking out of Japanese players recently, and most of them are WAY overpriced compared to 'foreign' players... and most of them don't have bids on them. Odd that, huh?

KitaKyushu if you are listening why don't you send RamenKing some player recommends like you've done for me on a few occasions. I think he's JBBL material in a season or two, we just need to give him some help learning the ropes.

I would really appreciate this. Trying to get decent players on the cheap is tough going, especially when I'm still "learning the ropes"!

Hey, another question: does game time provided in PLs go towards training?

No...The PL games oare played in arcade mode.
I myself, I like two position training when I train bigs...If you rotate IS,ID,REB and the on the second time through the rotation do one week of 1on1 F's,,you will find that they all clean themselves up. For example..IS and then you do ID which does IS at 6 weeks with a level 5 trainer and then Rebounding which also trains IS and ID....after this cycle 95% of the time each player will pop once in all cat.s. And then I do 1 on 1 F's because it gives your PF's JS and your SF's IS. I also give the 1 on 1 F to the player who didn't pop in IS because it trains it at 3/4 weeks.
This is just how I do it...I also give my PF's OD work and passing...good luck
