Another round, and what a crazy round it was! Here's the wrap up (I've got no time to write essays like ViOlater lol)
Kynlala Knights vs. Western Titans 64 - 53 (28932706)

What a ultra defensive game. Both teams defended their basket like madmen, and the score is one of the lowest competitive scores in recent history. With both teams struggling to score, it was an epic struggle from the very beginning. The Knights only pulled away in the last minute thanks to deliberate fouls by the Titans to extend the game. Another reasonable quite game for Samdup, but he still gets himself a 1 vote. When will he explode?

MVP Votes
3 Norbert Carey (9469789)Western Titans20 Points 10-21 FG 13 RB
2 Eugenio Dell'Asta (10058043)Kynlala Knights22 Points 8-24 FG 17 RB
1 Uditi Samdup (10839360)Western Titans6 Points 3-7 FG 22 RB

Koopasaurus vs. Viral Infections 120 - 55 (28932712)

No contest...again. Strong start by Koop, and he never looked back. It was men against little boys.

MVP Votes
3 Nicky Shipp (4201918)Koopasaurus22 Points 8-16 FG
2 Alfred Rooney (10023138)Koopasaurus39 Points 15-30 FG 8-20 3PT
1 Adriano Bassi (8083331)Koopasaurus18 Points 7-15 FG 6 AST 11 RB

Melbourne Goldfish vs. Possum Chasers 92 - 75 (28932705)

Possum Chasers spent most of the game chasing Xie. After much controversy for not being awarded MVP last week, Xie came out all guns firing and shot the Possums down. Xie also added 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals, walking away deservedly with the MVP for the game. Xie is currently the leading points scorer in the PL, ahead of Dell'Asta.

MVP Votes
3 Xie Guanzheng (11323951)Melbourne Goldfish27 Points 12-21 FG 5 AST 6 RB 5 STL
2 Niko Soinivaara (4319382)Possum Chasers28 Points 11-24 FG 3-5 3PT
1 Don Gresham (792187)Melbourne Goldfish11 Points 4-10 FG 17 RB

jw all-stars vs. Eggplantpopolopolous 71 - 67 (28932710)

JW are continuing to be the surprise package, this time upsetting Eggy in a 71-67 win. After a dismal season last year, JW have reinvented themselves and find themselves equal first after two rounds. Ben-Gigi starred for JW in this game at SF, having a faultless night on the offensive end. We watch in interest to see whether or not this young team can sustain this level of play. Giant killer or playing above their level?

MVP Votes
3 Yam Ben-Gigi(835447)jw all-stars28 Points 12-17 FG 9 RB
2 Jesper Kent (10061231)jw all-stars21 Points 7-18 FG 5 AST
1 Gorka Baztarrika (2775748)Eggplantpopolopolous8 Points 3-15 FG 26 RB 3 AST

Da Fat Boy Slim vs. SASTROOPERS 79 - 90 (28932711)

Fat Boy Slim has continued their poor form this season, with a second loss, this time to teammate SASTROOPERS. SAS dominated from the very beginning, with their inside game being too hot to handle for Duffil, who is continuing his poor form. If Da Fat Boy Slim want to become competitive, they'll need him to shine, or else he'll never be an all-time great. Robin, not Batman, starred for SASTROOPERS in this game.

MVP Votes
3 Rodrigo Bustos (2894405)SASTROOPERS34 Points 16-26 FG 16 RB
2 Ky Smeltz (10071569)SASTROOPERS16 Points 7-14 FG 21 RB
1 Gian Franco Finizza (2943847)SASTROOPERS13 Points 3-13 FG 6 RB 7 AST

Continued.

TeamAkuma vs. Cowboys From Hell 65 - 80 (28932708)

Cowboys from Hell have picked themselves up after losing to the Knights last week. A scrappy game where the game was in the balance until midway through the 3rd, where Cowboys started to pull away. Yujia was the surprise star for the Cowboys, with great offensive play driving the Cowboys to victory. Lukic again struggled in the game, and we're starting to question whether he'll ever fulfill his potential?

MVP Votes
3 Zhu Yujia (2651556)Cowboys From Hell25 Points 9-14 FG 9 RB
2 Lionel Blonde (8117860)Cowboys From Hell12 Points 6-12 FG 17 RB
1 Yong-Woo Kim (13238042)TeamAkuma12 Points 5-11 FG 22 RB

Maggots vs. City Celtics 94 - 85 (28932709)

A huge win for the Maggots over one of the star recruits for IV.7 this season. With Urwin struggling, Indriðason was the dominator today and led the Maggots to victory. An impressive performance from Mottram was not enough to help the Celtics to victory. Mottram is expected to be called up to the NT soon.

MVP Votes
3 Eggert Indriðason (4430814)Maggots21 Points 10-17 FG 23 RB
2 Matt Mottram (10839063)City Celtics29 Points 12-30 FG 8 RB
1 Oscar Washington Achucarro (2628396)Maggots20 Points 10-25 FG 11 RB

The Pwnage vs. Chelsea Seagulls 76 - 64 (28932707)

Where the hell in the world is Ðuričko and what have you done with him? After a strong week of performances, Ðuričko sucked so hard. Overall shooting performances were bad for the PL, but Ðuričko, as a star, takes the cake. Shut down expertly by Spencer Johnson, he will surely be reviewing the game tape to see where he went wrong.

MVP Votes
3 Rubén Saurín (5297548)The Pwnage19 Points 6-13 FG 5 AST 27 RB
2 Spencer Johnson (9469840)The Pwnage12 Points 6-20 FG 7 RB
1 Vallo Tammela (11403028)Chelsea Seagulls12 Points 5-9 FG 2 AST

MVP Votes to be tallied after round 3. Doing blind voting at the moment so I'm not counting leaders, as to help prevent favouritism.

It was a hell of game we battled out.

As for Udi...I am just glad he didn't spend the game watching from the bench like the previous week!

He played alright, I had Dell'Asta crossmatched on him in defense though, might explain why he was quiet.

Yeah I noticed that...I set my best OD against McArthur to try and shut him down. It was not quite as successful as Dell'Asta shutting out Udi!

Me too! I think Jose or my new Guard should have gotten at least 1 point.

Don't know, I'm tired. Been working round the clock for days now, plus uni assignments. I'll review it again tomorrow once I clear my head.
