Possum Chasers vs. Western Titans 60 - 78 (28932697)

The Possums started off hot, outscoring the Titans 23-11 in the first quarter. After a good spanking by robhoe in the dressing room, the Titan's came out strong and dominated the rest of the game. Star Center Samdup was left to pick the splinters our of his butt for the majority of the game after getting into early foul trouble.

Kynlala Knights vs. Cowboys From Hell 73 - 70 (28932699)

This game was tightly contested all the way, with the lead constantly changing until the final 5 minutes where the Knights slowly pulled away. Dell'Asta led from the front by scoring 13 of his 35 points in the final quarter. The Cowboys were to rue the foul trouble of Zakaržauskas, who fouled out before the start of the 4th. Cowboys star big man Geng Xiaoping had a fantastic game, keeping the Cowboys in the game with his outstanding play.

Melbourne Goldfish vs. Chelsea Seagulls 114 - 118 (28932698)

Crazy game, with both teams playing Full Court Press, it was turnover heaven. Both Xie and Ðuričko were jacking up shots, with their FG% suffering as a result. The stead play of Chelsea's PG Tammela helped keep the Seagulls from losing this one. The game MVP was tough to decide, and it wasn't the top scorers either, because their scoring efficiency sucked.

Da Fat Boy Slim vs. Koopasaurus 62 - 77 (28932704)

Koop sprung a surprise when he opted for the rarely used Princeton offense at the start of the game, and the team's lack of match practice with the tactic showed as they only scored 13 points in the first. At least they defended well, keeping DFBS to 9 points. Low scoring game as both defenses choked each other, but eventually Koop came out on top.

The Pwnage vs. City Celtics 76 - 88 (28932700)

Two gun SG's against each other, Spencer and Mottram. The pregame hype was all about who would come out on top. In the end, they were both quiet as their team mates starred, with both PF's going bonkers. City Celtics prevailed even though they were out rebounded by keeping hold of the ball.

Maggots vs. SASTROOPERS 84 - 94 (28932702)

NT Big man Smeltz was at it again, with a dominating performance against the Maggots, even though they played a 2-3 zone. Urwin tried hard to drive the Maggots forward but in the end was outclassed. SASTROOPERS had a massive third quarter to draw away from the Maggots to set up the victory.

TeamAkuma vs. Eggplantpopolopolous 59 - 73 (28932701)

Eggplant picked the right defense against Akuma's inside offense, and it paid off with a solid win. Eggplant's star big men played well, shooting 50% from the field. Akuma will be dissapointed with the performance of star guard Lukic, who had a mediocre night shooting 5-13 for 10 points.

jw all-stars vs. Viral Infections 82 - 61 (28932703)

Match was never in double as Naker doesn't really have a team, but he gave it a red hot go. Castellanos was a star, scoring 20 points in 11 hot minutes.

xie scored 35 points at 47% while in defence he had 7 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 blocks while keeping the opponents best offensive player oliver to 39%

sheesh, what more does he need to do?

and "the don" had a triple double tonight...if you count turnovers

great job otherwise iwen, i love reading your writeups

He has to drag his team to victory! He played well, but the Don played bad lol. The exciting part of your game was the last quarter whn Xie and Duricko played one on one for a while.

Great write up!
I would argue that Jose should be MVP for my match though :P
Castellanos played well but his rating shows that his defence is shocking, and considering he played against my crap players there is no surprise he got so many points haha!
On the other hand, Jose played all 48 minutes, was the highest scorer in the match, had the most rebounds, and had the highest rating in the match (proving he is a defensive monster) despite playing for so long ;)
Great work on the entire recap though!!! And congrats on the tight win over Lukebee.

Jose's defensive impact can't be ignored, of course. But Castellanos's spark off the bench was a major catalyst in them pulling away, so he gets the votes, even though he can't even defend himself against a door slamming in his face.

Think somebody like J.J. Reddick, Jamal Crawford or J.R Smith. Impact off the bench even though they can't defend.

I've seen Jamal Crawford and J.R Smith take over games with their offense by not J.J. Reddick yet.
